National Institute of Technology Patna is spread over 40 acres along Ashok Rajpath, which lies on the southern bank of the river Ganges opposite the point of its confluence with river Gandak. Computing Facilities: The college has a computer centre for the students, research scholars and teachers. It is equipped with modern computers, air-conditioned labs and stabilised uninterrupted power supply among the other facilities. The computer centre has seven labs for all the students and one lab exclusively for PhD scholars of the institute. All labs are equipped with IP cameras to monitor the activities remotely. It has 1 Gbps, 24x7 internet connectivity on the optical fibre network.

Hostel and Mess Facilities: The NIT Patna offers residential facilities to students. The hostels are guarded round the clock by able private security staff. Patrolling is also done by state security personnel during the night. There are also separate wardens for every hostel to maintain discipline. The NIT Patna hostel provides modern amenities like a mess facility, uninterrupted water and electricity, Wi-Fi connections, newspapers, magazines etc. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken care of and maintained in every aspect.

Banking: The college has a functional extension branch of Allahabad Bank within the institute premises. It provides all modern banking facilities to cater to the needs of students and the employees on the campus. The ATM of Allahabad Bank is available to enable hassle-free money withdrawal.

Central Library: The central library maintains a vast stock of over 75,000 books catering to the needs of all the relevant fields of engineering. It has a resourceful stock of over 10,000 computer-related books and demarcated sections for every engineering branch and architecture. In addition to the pertinent engineering books, the NIT Patna library is self-sufficient in a vivid category of other business and current affairs related magazines, pamphlets and journals. The students can issue books for us throughout the semester and additional books for special reference.

Medical Facilities: The National Institute of Technology Patna infrastructure provides two permanent doctors. Students and employees can consult them for any health-related problems for free. The college also maintains a 24x7 ambulance used for transferring patients from the institute to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in case of any emergency.

IT Facilities: The IT unit is equipped with modern and advanced infrastructure to provide services to cater to the computing and networking needs of the institute. The campus has high speed and uninterrupted internet access through 1 Gbps internet connectivity.

Workshop: A huge workshop with all required equipment, machines and tools is available in the college. Work related to carpentry, blacksmithy, foundry, fitting etc., is carried out. All the activities are carried out under the vigilance and guidance of experienced instructors.

Women Cell: The NIT Patna facilities include a women’s cell to ensure a safe working environment for the women employees and girl students.
