• Registration for JEE Advanced 2025 will start on April 23, 2025, at jeeadv.ac.in. Only candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2025 and are among the top 2.5 lakh rank holders are eligible to register. A student can appear for JEE Advanced only two times in consecutive years. Detailed eligibility criteria, registration guidelines, and other exam-related updates are available on the official website.

December 18, 2024

• IIT Patna's Phase One placement drive for the Class of 2025 saw 207 offers, including 58 Pre-Placement Offers and 12 international placements. More than 70 companies participated, including Google, Microsoft, and Samsung, offering roles in software engineering, data science, and consulting. The hybrid placement process ensures seamless interactions, with Phase Two scheduled for mid-January 2025.

November 12, 2024

• JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration is now open for the IIT Patna BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The deadline to apply is November 22, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is set for January 22 to 31, 2025.
• The JEE Advanced 2025 official website has been updated with the revised eligibility criteria. According to the official website, applicants can now attempt the JEE Advanced 2025 exam up to three times in three consecutive years. The JEE Advanced 2025 application form for the BTech course will be available in April 2025.
• IIT JAM 2025 for M.Sc admission to IIT Patna will be conducted on February 02, 2025. Candidates can make changes to the application form through jam2025.iitd.ac.in, till November 18, 2025, and the admit card is expected to be out in the first week of January 2025.
• IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled for February 02, 2025, for admission to the M.Sc program at IIT Patna. Any changes in the application form can be done till November 18, 2024, and the admit card is expected to be released in early January 2025. Interested candidates can check the official website for more details @jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

IIT Patna was set up in 2008 under an Act of the Indian Parliament. It is one of the most popular and top-ranked colleges in India. It is situated at Bihta, which is approximately 40 km from Patna. The Institute has secured 73rd rank in the overall category and 34th in the engineering category by NIRF ranking 2024. The admission for the B.Tech course is based on JEE Advance.  Admissions for M.Tech are made based on GATE Cutoff scores.

IIT Patna's admission process for the year 2025 is now open. IIT Patna Admission

IIT Patna admission 2025 is now open in online mode. The B.tech admission is based on JoSSA Counselling, and the M.Tech admission is based on PI and COAP rounds. Students with exceptional academic backgrounds with good marks can be directly admitted to the PhD program. It offers three years of BS and four years of BTech courses in eight specializations. There are three years of PhD programs in around ten departments.

IIT Patna Eligibility Criteria

IIT Patna result 2022 has been released for the M.Sc program on the college's website. Students who have given the examination can check their results online. Candidates can use their login credentials to check the result and can also use the given steps.

IIT Patna Infrastructure

IIT Patna's campus is spread over 501 acres, located at Amhara, Bihta, 35 km from Patna. Earlier, the Institute was working from a transient 10 acres complex in Patliputra Colony, Patna. In July 2015, the Institute commenced its new session on its permanent campus placed at Bihta. Laboratories for unique disciplines also are available on the campus for its students.
