Academics & Faculty : For the first year, it is tight schedule from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m five days a week but evening session will be free from next year, only 2 days per week. Teachers are highly qualified from different colleges and researched in various fields from eminent colleges .they are helping and explain us very well. We have an extra tutorial class for questions and understanding. That's very pleasant and boosting environment for study.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : IIT's take admission through JEE advanced which one appears after qualifying JEE mains. You can appear for JEE advanced only twice. Cutoffs for various branch  Opening rank. Placements & Internships : In the placement session 2016-17, total 46 companies have given 163 offers to B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. students. List of some Major recruiters who had visited IIT Patna and offered job to IIT Patna students are Microsoft, Arista Network, Amazon, Direct, Sigmoid Analytics, Samsung SRI Delhi, Samsung SRI Noida, Samsung SRI Bangalore, L&T ECC, Cognum Technology, ezDI, United Health Group, Info Edge ,Works Apps ,Wipro , Tata Motors , ISRO , TCS-CTO , M&M , Tricon Infotech, Finisar, Cognizant, CEWiT, TVS Motors, Indian Oil , EdCIL Ltd . It has a very good average package of INR 12.5 Lacs. It has very broad alumni network.

Fees & Scholarships : The tuition fee for B.Tech program from IIT Patna is INR 2,00,000 per annum. The tuition fee is 0 for sc/st and those with income less than INR 1 lac only extra fee and mess fee is applicable. The scholarship is given to the economic backward student, averagely 20 students. The loan is also provided at 0% interest for entire course duration by SBI and CANARA bank.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Now we have 1 hostel for boy and 1 for the girl. construction of the second hostel is almost over. Fees are INR 500 per semester and INR 14000 per semester for a meal. A meal is also pretty good with 4 times a day. The classroom is equipped with ac and wifi is active all over campus. All other features are also quite good like labs and libraries.

Clubs & Associations : It's a new college so all clubs are not properly setup but all are progressing at a very fine rate. JACK, Sparkonics and ACE, SCME is the important club. Anwesha, Celesta is famous technical, management and culture fest of IIT Patna. As a student at new, IIT is always challenging, you get more responsibility and seniors are always there to help you. But it will be very enthusiastic and enjoyable.
