• JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration is now open for the IIT Patna BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The deadline to apply is November 22, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is set for January 22 to 31, 2025.
• The JEE Advanced 2025 official website has been updated with the revised eligibility criteria. According to the official website, applicants can now attempt the JEE Advanced 2025 exam up to three times in three consecutive years. The JEE Advanced 2025 application form for the BTech course will be available in April 2025.
• IIT JAM 2025 for M.Sc admission to IIT Patna will be conducted on February 02, 2025. Candidates can make changes to the application form through jam2025.iitd.ac.in, till November 18, 2025, and the admit card is expected to be out in the first week of January 2025.
• IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled for February 02, 2025, for admission to the M.Sc program at IIT Patna. Any changes in the application form can be done till November 18, 2024, and the admit card is expected to be released in early January 2025. Interested candidates can check the official website for more details @jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

IIT Patna offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in the streams of Engineering, Science, and Doctoral courses. Admission to the UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses are based on the scores of JEE Main, JEE Advanced, JAM, and GATE entrance exams.

• M.Tech candidate with a minimum percentage of marks in the respective subjects in M.Sc/ B.Tech is eligible.
• M.Tech candidates should have a valid GATE rank or scorecard.
• For final-year students, they can apply provisionally with a valid GATE score and submit the required documents during the interview.
• M.Tech Selection Process candidates with a valid GATE/ GPAT score card and satisfying the eligibility criteria are selected for the interview and counselling process.
• IIT institutes process admission via Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).
• The institutes or department conducts further rounds of written tests and interviews after COAP to fill the remaining unfilled seats.
• M.Sc candidate with minimum marks in the respective subjects in M.Sc is eligible to apply.
• M.Sc candidate should have a valid IIT JAM rank or scorecard.
• For final-year students, they can apply provisionally with a valid IIT JAM score and submit the required documents during the interview.
• The candidates with a valid IIT JAM scorecard and satisfying the eligibility criteria are selected for the interview and counselling process.

IIIT  Patna offers a PhD course the candidate needs to fulfil the minimum requirement for enrollment in the eligibility criteria mentioned below

• P.h.D. candidate should have completed M.Sc or M.Tech with good academic records and/ with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ ST) with a valid GATE/ IIT JAM/ UGC/ CSIR-JRF/ DBT-INSPIRE.
• A candidate with BE/ B.Tech from any IIT institute with an 8.0 CGPA is exempted from GATE qualification.
• A candidate with BE/ B.Tech from any IIT institute with an 8.0 CGPA and above with a valid GATE scorecard.
• A candidate with M.Sc from any IIT with an 8.0 CGPA is exempted from any national level entrance examination.
• P.h.D. selection process for IIT Ropar PhD admission 2025 is based on eligibility criteria and a valid GATE score or CSIR-JRF/ UGC/ NBHM. 
• The candidate satisfying the eligibility criteria are selected for interview and counselling while some are exempted from direct admission.
