During the B.Tech/M.Tech placements 2025, the highest package offered at NIT Srinagar was INR 35.5 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 8.9 LPA. Out of 655 eligible students, 504 were successfully placed, resulting in an overall Engineering placement rate of 76.94%.

Branch-wise, the placement percentages for CSE, ECE, and IT were 87.3%, 98.7%, and 80%, respectively. Meanwhile, EE, ME, and CE recorded placement rates of 87.1%, 82.9%, and 40.4%.
