Infrastructure

Our campus has a sprawling 43-acres area set amongst lush green fields. The spacious buildings of our group of institutions house Classrooms, Laboratories, Drawing Halls, Ultra-modern Libraries, Computer Center, Administrative Offices, Meditation Halls, Music Rooms, Seminar Halls etc. The entire campus including the hostels has Wi-Fi internet connections. A separate building has been constructed that houses secrecy unit and deals with examinations conducted in accordance with the norms of Kurukshetra University.

Classrooms

The architecturally designed 43 classrooms provide optimal room for natural light and air. They provide an environment that helps to achieve good level of concentration and a unique place to study, relax and develop. Many of the classrooms are equipped with teaching aids like the Green Boards, Graph boards/LCD projectors. The facilities enable the teachers to teach in a unique and innovative manner that makes the students feel involved in the learning process and helps in quality learning. The teachers get training in most of the modern teaching-learning processes so that to transform you from a student to an “EMPLOYABLE STUDENT”. Other than this there are 22 Tutorial Rooms that are used by the teachers to interact with smaller chunk of students. Students in these sessions clear there doubts and work on problems related to their subject matter.

Cutting Edge Laboratories

The college provides extensive resources for research and education in all the engineering and management trades. Overall, in various departments, there are a total of 71 fully-equipped laboratories and workshops. This includes more than 780 high-performance computers and 78 printers in the Computer labs that has OS in range of Linux and its variants. In addition to general purpose file server, the departments maintain two specialized servers for Linux based workstations and internet management. The network communications includes a BSNL fiber optic backbone, offering 10 Mbps connectivity and provides network services with all the college computer networks, including all laboratories. The college has wireless internet connectivity via a campus-wide Wi-Fi network to the laptops of all students. There are separate departmental libraries maintained by various departments having books, manuals, project reports and lectures.

Seminar Halls

The college possess exceptionally crafted multipurpose air-conditioned Seminar Halls. There are high order communication facilities like audio-visual system, seating and illustrations.

Cultural Events Group

The college has group of enthusiastic and vibrant faculty members that hold cultural and non-cultural events for grooming the students in the areas apart from the academics. Every year, the group organizes Synergy – a Techno-cultural Fest in which more than 80% students participate in one event or the other. 

Library

The Central Library of the N.C. College of Engineering, established in 1998, is a fully computerized and centrally air-conditioned library. It is really a place of individual study and research and also maintains a reader friendly inviting atmosphere of quiet and dignity. Presently the library occupies covered area of 1675 sq. Meter with seating capacity of 380 users at a time and also has a separate air-conditioned Faculty Reader hall. T o provide full information support to teaching- learning process, the Library has a rich collection of 36898 books, 2880 CDs of books, periodicals and video course lectures. The Library subscribes 113 titles of print Journals including magazines-both national and international. It also stacks 1043 back volumes of important print journals. In addition, the Library has Six Departmental Libraries under its control. Department Library of Mechanical Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Business Management and English Language caters the needs of both faculty members and students.

Hostel Facilities

There are residential accommodations available for married staff and Hostels for bachelor teachers. There are separate hostels for boys & girls students. Gymnasium and Indoor games like, Badminton, Carom, Table tennis, Snookers etc. and separate TV room with cable connection are provided to the students residing in hostel.

Bus Facility

Regular chartered buses are being run by the College for outstation students from Delhi, Gohana, Karnal, Panipat, Rohtak, Samalkha, Sonepat and other nearby towns for to and fro conveyance. These buses are also used for taking students for educational visits/tours to different industries.
