Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, formerly known as North Maharashtra University(NMU), was established in 1990 in Jalgaon. the University was awarded a 4-star grade and a 2.35CGPA  by NAAC in 2001 and re-valuation in 2015, it was awarded an 'A' Grade with 3.11 CGPA. NMU campus is built over an area of 664 acres. 

The university has bagged many awards for its facility of green campus from Govt. of Maharashtra. NMU, Jalgoan has close to 220 colleges and 4 University recognized Research Institutes/Centres. The campus provides a perfect environment for learning, teaching and education. Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses are offered in this University. The university has been approved by NAAC and UGC. The University has also been recognized by National/ International agencies like UGC SAP for its research activities.

North Maharashtra University B.Tech and M.Tech Admission depends upon the eligibility and MHT-CET and GATE ranks, respectively.

North Maharashtra University B.Tech Eligibility

Bachelor in Technology program, offered by NMU, is a 4-year course specialized in Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, Oils, Fats & Waxes Technology, and so on. The course duration consists of summer and winter internships.

Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate has to pass 10+12 with 50% (45% for SC /ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The candidate should have a valid test score of MHT CET examination

North Maharashtra University B.Sc Eligibility

The university offers a Bachelors of Science course. The duration of the program is 3 years. North Maharastra University B.Sc 1st year fee is INR 17,700 and INR 16,075 2nd and 3rd year.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate has to pass 10+12 in any stream with Mathematics as one of the main subjects with 50% marks (45% marks for the reserved categories).

North Maharashtra University MBA Eligibility

North Maharashtra University offers a Master in Business Administration program with a course duration of 2 years including an internship. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed graduation in any field with Mathematics up to 12th or equivalent level with 50% marks. 
• A valid test score in the MAH MBA CET OR CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT or ATMA exam.

North Maharashtra University Cut Off

North Maharashtra University cut off 2021 will release after the results of the MHT CET/GATE/MAT/XAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAH MBA CET 2021 exam will be out. The university releases a cut-off for admission to courses every academic year during admission time. North Maharashtra University cut-off score is 92.61 in MHT CET for B.Tech. MAH CET cut off percentile is above 65% for various branches of MBA.

North Maharashtra University Result

North Maharashtra University Campus

The university campus is located about 1.5 km away from Asia Highway No. 46. It has an area of 2.7km2 on the banks of the Girna river and on hilly terrain. The campus beauty is for its richness in green vegetation, more than 2 lakh trees, which earned it the honour many awards like ‘Vanshree Award – 2000’ by Govt. of Maharashtra and ‘Indira Priyadarshini Vrikshamitra Awards-2002’ by Ministry of Environment and Forests.

North Maharashtra University campus offers world-class facilities for students to complement a better learning environment. Amenities like canteen, laboratories, hostel, gym,  auditorium, etc are offered on the campus. The library has a large variety of books, periodicals, and journals, and it takes part in the INFLIBNET program. The library has records of Manuscripts, Reports and so on.

NMU has a Department of External Education and Learning(DEEL), established in 2018. It is recognised by the Distance Education Council (DEC). Its Jurisdiction is only for 3 Districts, namely Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Dhule. It offers General, Professional and Liberal programs.  The department was formerly known as IDEAL External Department.
