People’s University possesses an academic environment for education & career building in central India. It was established by the Madhya Pradesh legislature through an amendment in Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya [Sthapana Avam Sanchalan] Adhiniyam-2007 as Madhya Pradesh Act. The University is spread across 69.19 acres of the area near the National Highway No. 86 in Bhopal.

People's University was established in the year 2011 in 70 acres of land and the university has its own hospital with 904 beds capacity. University has 9 institutional libraries, 56 departmental libraries, 50 seminar rooms, and 95 teaching labs. Here are a few key highlights of the University:

People's University Medicine:

Department of Medical Science offers MBBS, MD/MS, M.Sc., and Ph.D. courses in their university. Admissions for these courses are based on all India NEET UG and NEET PG. Department has a 904 bedded hospital with around 5 lakhs sq ft. constructed area. The medical department follows the Curriculum prepared by the Medical Council of India(MCI). Regular workshops on Research Methodology are conducted. 

People's University Engineering:

People's University Engineering offers Diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses in the engineering department. The university is located in 70 acres of land with the best infrastructure facilities, the university has its own hospital with a capacity of around 904 beds with all kinds of facilities. People's University offers various courses and each course has different eligibility criteria to take admissions. The Eligibility Criteria for each course is mentioned below:

People's University Admissions:

The People's University admission application is available on the college website. The admissions are done on the basis of merit and the scores in the Entrance test conducted by the University for some courses. The students must satisfy the eligibility criteria and possess all needed documents during the admission. MBBS and MD/MS admissions are based on an entrance exam conducted by the Municipal Council Of India that is NEET UG and NEET PG Entrance exam. 

People's University Hostel Details:

People's University provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Parents are allowed to stay in the guest house during their visit or in case of emergency. The hostel mess provides the best quality and hygienic food.

The college has hostel facilities for more than 2000 students with double sharing. The Hostels are divided into departmental wise. Along with the hostels, the People's University Facilities has state-of-art. The hostel fee is INR 85,000 per year.
