The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 1972 and was aimed as a joint venture of the North-Eastern states of India. The total tuition fee for MBBS is INR 15,000. 

RIMS Imphal courses list includes 4 UG and 3 PG courses. These are- MBBS, B.Sc, BDS, BASLP, MS, MD, and M.Sc Nursing. The 3-year PG courses of ME and MD are offered in 24 subjects, such as pathology, dermatology, microbiology, and general medicine, with a capacity of 166 students. The B.Sc program provided by the institute is in Nursing, Medical Lab Tech, and Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology. Aside from this, students can also pursue BASLP. 

RIMS Imphal also offers M.Ch and DM post-doctoral programs to their PG students. The M.Ch program is provided in Urology and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and DM is offered in Nephrology.

The RIMS Imphal fee for BDS is INR 12,000. It is the total tuition fee for the course. The admission fee for BDS at RIMS Imphal is INR 4000, and the INR 1000 security deposit. 

Similarly, the RIMS Imphal fee for B.Sc Nursing is INR 10,400. It is also the total tuition fee for the course.

RIMS Imphal Fee Payment Guidelines

Admission to RIMS Imphal is based on the scores of different entrance exams such as NEET, NEET-PG, or university entrance exams for M.SC or M.Phil courses. Students can apply for the university entrance exam during the admission period when the application link is active. The results of the entrance exam and the merit list are shared on the institute's official website. 

For admission to a B.Sc Nursing program, students are recommended by different North Eastern states. However, students must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria and must have scored the minimum required marks in 10+2. 

Students seeking admission to MBBS, MS, or MD programs are only admitted through NEET or NEET-PG. The application forms are available for students on the NTA, National Testing Agency, and website. Applicants must fill out the application form for the entrance exam. Once the results are announced and the counseling process is complete, college allotment is done based on the availability of the seat. 

The steps to apply for the NEET exam are given below:

• Visit the official website of NTA.
• Click on the announcement for NEET. 
• Register using your email ID and phone number. Students must keep these IDs and numbers active throughout the admission process. 
• Fill in the application form.
• Attach the required documents, photograph, and signature in the given dimensions. 
• Pay the application fee. 
• Print out the application form and fee receipt for future reference. 

Students can pay the application fee online. Once the counseling is completed, students must also pay the admission fee to block the seat.
