Infrastructure facilities at Rizvi College of Architecture

Computer labs

• Rizvi College of Architecture has computer lab center with 80 computers which is available for use by RCA student and faculty.
• The software available included arch cad and archicad.

Cafeteria

• Rizvi College of Architecture has a cafeteria with a capacity of 200 seats on the 1st floor.
• It also has a fast food and snacks counter, it serves India and Chinese cuisine, snacks, hot beverages and soft drinks, Rizvi College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology has a restaurant & cafeteria on the ground floor in Rizvi Educational Complex.

Auditorium

• Rizvi Educational Complex has a multipurpose auditorium with a 500 seats capacity at the ground floor with a stage and green room.
• The student uses the facility for the cultural events. Important formal functions are held in the auditorium. ICHH conferences are also held here annually.

Library

• RCA has its own library whose collection is growing at a high rate.
• The present collection covers the subjects of arts, graphic, architectural data, construction, design architectural theory, history, interior, landscape, urban design, town planning, housing, and technology.
• RCA subscribes to numerous India and foreign magazines and journals. The library is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm. A student can also access the libraries of Rizvi College of engineering, Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research as well as Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce covering a whole range of subjects including arts, science, economics, sociology, business management, commerce, philosophy and languages.

Audio- visual room

• RCA has initiated slides/CDs collection covering various subject related to the academic programme. This includes architectural heritage of India, historical buildings and monuments, contemporary architecture and human settlements from all over the world.

Studios

• Rizvi College of architecture has studios for each class equipped with a drafting boards, tack tag boards and sound systems.
• These studios provided a stimulating learning environment for the students; where they can explore and experiment with their design concepts.

Workshop

• The collage has a wood and a metal workshop with necessary machines and tools. The students are introduced to workshop practice. They learn architectural model making and are encouraged to use the workshop facility for their design models. Students use the workshop and laboratories of Rizvi College of Engineering located in the campus.
