Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, New Delhi was established in 1996 and is graded A+ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council and is approved by All India Institute of Technical Education [AICTE] and Ministry of Human Resource and Development [MHRD]. The Institute is ISO 9001:2015 certified by the Joint Assessment Committee of GGSIPU and Department of Higher Education, Govt of NCT New Delhi. The College is functioning under the supervision of Seth Pokhran Mal Education Society.
