Fees & Scholarships :
It is a government affiliated college and fees for under graduation here, is very less. The reserved classes only need to get the admission form which costs 50 or 100 rupees. Non-reserved classes, which are not under the grant of government, have to pay nearly 12000 per year. Scholarships are provided by the government for reserved class students. As the fees are quite low, one does not really need to worry about loans. You don't need a loan for getting admitted in Sardar Patel College.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Passing 12th from any school or board with minimum 50%. There was no entrance exam for admission nor were there any cutoffs.
Placements & Internships :
I am a student right now and I am in my final year. I didn't hear anything about internships in our college but there are a few companies that visit our college for placements like wipro, tcs, etc. I don't really have any idea about the packages.
Academics & Faculty :
Our classes start at 7:30 A.M. Each class is for 45-50 minutes. As a computer student, I really appreciate the work assigned to us as our projects. Teaching methods are also really very appreciated. My experience here is really very good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
The college has one hostel for girls in the campus area. Which is okay! Classrooms are not too fancy but teaching methods are really good. Library in Sardar Patel college is one of the biggest in Chandrapur.
Clubs & Associations :
Each faculty has a club of their own. Like computer club, Fashion designing club, etc. The annual sports and cultural meet is the best event organised by the college. Every student keeps waiting for this event. Also, there are many small events organised by the authorities, one which I remember was on 2nd of October 2019, which was a workshop by the physics department and we where taught to make solar table lamps here. I really enjoy my college days at Sardar Patel College.
