Undergraduate Courses
B.Sc (Nursing)
The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year of admission.
The candidate should have completed the two years intermediate/ H.Sc or equivalent course thereof, with science subjects, viz. English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre- University.
The candidate should have secured not less than 60% of marks on the aggregate of the above subjects in the qualifying or competitive examination conducted on similar lines as the qualifying examination conducted by a competitive body.
The candidate should be medically fit
M.Sc (Nursing)
A candidate for admission to the M.Sc. Degree in Nursing must possess a Degree of B.Sc. Nursing from a College / University duly recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with minimum 55% aggregate marks and should have one year of experience, after graduation.

In the case of Male Candidates, they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in place of Midwifery. These male candidates are not eligible for admission to Branch III and Branch IV irrespective of their experience in these areas. Male candidates who have passed and registered in Midwifery is eligible for admission to branch V irrespective of their experience in this area
Other Courses
Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing)
A candidate for admission to the Post Basic B.Sc.nursing course should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery after 10, +2 or equivalent examination with science subjects.
The candidate should be a registered nurse and midwife or equivalent to any state nursing registration council.
A male nurse trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses registration council shall produce evidence of training approved by
Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas – OT Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, TB Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Orthopaedic Nursing.
Candidates should be medically fit
Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care Post Graduate Residency
Candidate should be completed B.Sc Nursing Programme in an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and registered in State Nursing Council
Minimum marks to be secured not less than 55% aggregate marks in the B.Sc Nursing program
Applicants must possess a registered B.Sc(N) with a minimum of one-year clinical experience, preferably in any critical care setting.
