General requirements for Postgraduate Application Process 2024

• Aspirants can apply to the university, through an online application form which will be available on the website Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya from the day of commencement of the registration process for the year 2024.

• The candidate is advised to apply for admission only if he/she fulfills the eligibility requirements.

• The candidates can apply to more than one course in a single form.

• The applicant applying to multiple courses/programmes need to pay application fee only once.

• After successful registration, a registration number will be generated.

• The registration number is to be used as a login ID of the website.

• The candidates are advised to fill the form correctly and completely, also upload their recent passport size photo and scanned signature.

• Application fee for General category students is Rs 750 and for SC/ST candidates the fee is Rs 400.

• The fees must be paid only through an online portal or through its authorized mode.No other modes of payment of fees will be accepted.

General requirements for Postgraduate Admissions 2024

• Detailed information about the Postgraduate Courses admissions is briefly mentioned in the official website for the year 2024.

• The candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance test to qualify for the interview.

• At the time of admission, candidates must bring the following documents:-

  • Original certificates and mark sheets along with a self-attested copy of each of the certificate and mark sheet of 10th, 12th, Graduation, and P.G. classes.

  • Original documents along with a self-attested copy of SC/ ST/ OBC /MP domicile certificate (whichever is applicable) to claim the benefit of reservation, as per MP Govt. rules.

• A list of the eligible candidates for interview shall be prepared by the RAC on the basis of the result of the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) and the same shall be submitted to the Registrar to notify.

• The students who are exempted from the entrance test and who have qualified the DET shall have to appear in the interview for admission in any PG course.

• The Interview shall be conducted by the Research Advisory Committee of the concerned subject.

• The date of the interview in each course will be notified on the University Website.

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

• First preference for admission to MBA course in Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya is Madhyapradesh candidates.

• Age limit is a maximum 28 years, for Physically Challenged it is 35 years and female candidates of no age limit.

• Candidate must pass the Entrance test conducted by the University.

• All applicants must have a Graduation degree of 50% aggregate from a Recognized / Reputed university.

• A relaxation of 5% aggregate in Qualifying exam scores availed to SC / ST / Physically challenged students of Madhya Pradesh only.

• Seat intakes for each specialization in MBA course are as follows:

  • MBA in Finance Administration =120

  • MBA in Marketing Management =120

  • MBA in e-Commerce = 60

  • MBA in Disaster Management = 60

  • MBA in Human Resources = 120

  • MBA in Tourism = 40

  • MBA in Advertising & Public Relations = 40

  • MBA in Media Management = 40

  • MBA in Business Economics = 60

  • MBA in International Business = 60

  • MBA in Financial Services = 50

  • MBA in Foreign Trade = 60

  • MBA in Business Analytics = 50

Interested students can apply for the M.A. course in Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya if have a graduation degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

• Seat intakes for each specialization are as follows:

  • M.A. in Economics = 60

  • M.A. in Yoga = 20

  • M.A. in Sanskrit – Jyotish = 30

  • M.A. in Functional Hindi & Literature = 30

  • M.A. in Sanskrit – Literature = 30

• All aspirants must have a valid score in DET for the year2024 to secure admission in Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.)/Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes. 

• Candidate must have a Bachelors degree certificate with minimum 50% aggregate score.

•  There is no age limit for admission to this course in Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya.

• Seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC category will be offered to the SC/ST/OBC candidates of Madhya Pradesh domicile only.

• SC/ ST/OBC candidates from other states and the candidates from other reserved categories from any state will be treated under the unreserved category.

• SC/ ST/OBC candidates have to produce Category certificate and valid M.P. domicile certificate issued by appropriate authorities at the time of counseling.
