Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College admission is open for various UG/ PG programmes. The college was established by Shri Mahant Indiresh Charan Dass Ji in 1960. The college is recognized by UGC and affiliated to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Garhwal. NAAC has accredited the college with 'A' Grade and CGPA 3.04 on a scale of 4. The college is a part of the SGRR Education Mission which imparts quality education to urban, rural, and people living near the hillside region. The college encourages students in research and development with scholarships and higher research through, Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) cell. The institute was selected for 'College with the Potential for Excellence' (CPE) status by UGC in the year 2011. It has the NAAC committee, the Dean student's welfare committee, the sports council, the grievance's redressal cell, IQAC, Campus development committee, Library committee, Career Guidance, and Placement cell, NSS, Anti-ragging Cell, cultural and education society, etc. The campus has an area of 62.5 acres with a lush green environment with all the infrastructure facilities. The Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College facilities include Library, Women's Studies Centre, Regional Directorate of Uttarakhand Open University has its office working in the campus, Uttarakhand Open University, IGNOU centre, and the college has also a Centre of National Testing Service, the college campus has Wi-Fi facility inside the campus. The College encourages students in research and development with scholarships and higher research through, Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) cell. Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College admission is offered in Arts and Science at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC while securing some minimum aggregate marks are considered eligible for UG courses. Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College has BA, BA (Hons), B.Sc, courses in its curriculum. The college offers 8 specializations in the BA and BA (Hons) program and 12 specializations in the B.Sc program with each as sets of three. Admission to any UG program is given as per the merit of candidates in the qualifying examination. The total seats offered under the undergraduate program are 1820, with 470 seats under BA.

Those who are seeking admission to the BA course must have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination conducted by a recognized University with a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC category) marks in aggregate. Applicants who want to apply for admission to the B.Sc course shall have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) with relevant subjects to become eligible. For B.Ed. course students must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline. The tuition fee for the B.Sc course is INR 2450 per year and the tuition fee for the BA course is INR 1861 per year

SGRR PG College offers a Master’s program in various subjects with multiple specializations. Applicants who are seeking admission to full-time MA, M.Sc course are admitted to the respective course strictly based on their merit in the qualifying examination followed by an interview.

Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria for the applicants who have applied for the MA program is BA Degree in relevant specialization, similarly for M.Sc minimum eligibility requirement is B.Sc in respective discipline. MA/ MSc students shall appear in only those optional subjects that are taught in the college as per the norms of the University. Students shall have to be present before the Admission Committee for the interview and document verification. The tuition fee for the M.Sc course is INR 3066 per year. The tuition fee for the MA course is INR 2721 per year

The college offers two certificate courses. The courses are in Spoken English and Physico-Chemical Analysis of water and milk. Both courses are for a short span of 3 months each.

• Once verifying your OTP, fill-up the form with valid information and personal details.

Important Notes:

• Student Admission can be canceled if incorrect information is found or concealed certain facts.
• All the necessary documents should be in .jpg format while submitting through online mode.
• Candidates Photo and Signature should not be greater than 50KB.
• Candidates Qualifying Examination Marksheet, Caste Certificate, and other Documents need to be within 500KB while uploading.
• Once the Merit Registration Submitted, the Candidate Photo, Sign can't be modified.
