Additional Details for South Asian University, [SAU] New Delhi:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of schooling + 5 years of integrated BBA/ BA/ B.Sc/ LLB or a 4 year Law degree or a 2 or 3 year Bachelor Degree followed by 3 year LLB programme + 2 years or 1 year LLM programme
• All the degrees should be from a university recognised by one of the SAARC nations
• The candidate should have a minimum of 50% aggregate in all the degrees and higher secondary
• Candidates who have done LLB degree followed by 1 year LLM should have an aggregate of 60%
• The candidates will have to go through an Entrance Test and Interview for selection
• The candidates need to score at least 50% marks in both the interview and entrance exam for admission
• The Entrance  Exam also has negative marking 
• The candidates invited for the interview will be given a travel expense of INR 5000
• The Entrance Test application costs INR 650

Scholarships at South Asian University, [SAU] New Delhi:

SAU offers scholarships under three category.

SAU President's Award:

• This scholarship is awarded to the students who top in the entrance exams of their respective countries
• The students should come under top 10 percentile of the combined merit list of the all their subjects

SAARC - India Silver Jubilee Scholarship:

• This scholarship is awarded to the students who belong to the least developed countries of SAARC

SAU Scholarship/ Financial Support:

• This scholarship is offered to the students on need cum merit basis

Miscellaneous:

• South Asian University offers scholarships and financial support
• The students are offered a maximum fee waiver of INR 22,000 on the tuition fee per semester and a living allowance of INR 7,000 per month
• The scholarship awardees also get to stay in the hostel free of cost
• A startup amount of INR 10,000 is offered to the scholarship awardees who belong to SAARC nations other than India
• For Indian nationals, the startup amount offered is half of what the other candidates are offered
