Entrance Exams & Admissions : We have to write KEAM to get admission to SCTCE. With a rank around 4000 out of more than 1,50,000 students appearing for the exam, it's easy to get admission

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is ₹.35,000 per year First 5 rank holders from each class gets a FULL FEE scholarship and have to pay just ₹.1000 per year. On an average around 200-250 students get a college scholarship. There are many other govt. Recognized and govt. Scholarship schemes available to students. Fee waiver scheme is available for eligible students. Still, if you need a loan, a student from SCTCE will get a loan from any nationalised banks with ease.

Academics & Faculty : Well planned course structure, well-experienced faculty and course committee. Dean, senior professors, HODs and well-established curriculum experts have published their research papers on international and national platforms. Visiting professors from IITs, ISRO etc. The overall experience is very impressive. The pleasant atmosphere and the best faculty together create a wonderful learning experience.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Women's hostel run by college and various men's hostels and homestays run by people affiliated with the local police and college are there within a 1 km radius of the college. The food and other basic amenities are all up to the expectations. A complete meal cost just ₹.30 from the college canteen. (Non-veg and veg) A well-functioning library and 3 computer labs and WiFi access for students are available on the campus. The best workshop for mechanical engineering is in SCTCE. All the machines and tools needed for us are available here. Other department libraries and labs and workshops are functioning with high standards as our college is aiming for accreditation.

Clubs & Associations : A students union elected by students coordinate the student's activities in the campus. Various clubs are working effectively. Film club, literary club, fashion club, Mechanical Engineering Students Association, ASME(automobile), biotechnology association, quiz club, nature club, NSS. The annual college fest 'CULT A WAY' is famous for its variety of contests and the cultural and technical events and exhibitions. A technical fest ADVENT, ARTS DAY, FRESHERS DAY, SPORTS DAY and we celebrate all the national festivals ONAM, HOLI, CHRISTMAS, DIWALI.... Talks by eminent personalities, group sessions with other colleges and IITs. Local students chapters of various national organisations. The best atmosphere. It will help you in every way possible.
