APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University was established in 2014. The university is a state university under Kerala Government. UGC and AICTE approve the university. The university has more than 150 colleges affiliated with it. There are about 1,60,000 students enrolled at KTU University. During admissions, the university accepts the score of various entrance examinations like CAT, KEAM, NATA, KMAT, CMAT, CEE, GATE, etc. KTU offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs and other short-term courses.

KTU is located in Thiruvananthapuram of Kerala State. The university is located on 40 acres of land. KTU offers the best educational facilities to the candidates. KTU offers courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, MCA, etc. KTU offers placement assistance after the completion of the course. There are various specializations like Aeronautical Engineering, IT, Biochemical, Biotechnology and others from which the candidates can choose. KTU Admissions

KTU admission is made both online and offline. Candidates with merit ranking will be given priority. There are different level of courses provided by KTU like UG, PG, PGDM, diploma, P.hD, etc. The admission criteria for UG and PG courses are different. The different selection criteria and eligibility are mentioned below.

BA/BSc/BCom Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates are selected based on marks in the 10+2 examination.
• The selected candidates are called for a personal interview.
• Shortlisted candidates are called for admission.

MCom/MSc/MA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate applying for admission to the University should have passed two years' intermediate examinations or a recognized plus two examination with an aggregate of at least 50% aggregate marks.
• Applicants seeking admission to SC/ST category need 40% from a recognized board or council to get admission in any required courses. Master's degree courses require graduation from a respected bachelor course from a reputed college 
• The selection of candidates is made based on graduation marks.
• The selection list is out for the shortlisted students.
• Students are called for further counseling and admission.

KTU results are published on the official website of the university. The candidates can check for the results on the website by clicking on the results link. The candidates can select their respective courses from the list and give their registration number and date of birth to log in to their dashboard to access their results page. The results are usually published soon after each semester's examinations are over.
