Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 exams from any recognized Board.
• Open Category candidates should have scored 50% at least.
• Backward Category candidates should have scored 50% at least.
• Most backward/ SC/ ST candidates should have scored 50% at least
• Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination within two attempts.
• Diploma Holders are also eligible to II year of the four years B.E. / B.Tech Degree courses.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

• Candidate should have passed an appropriate Degree Examination of Anna University or any other examination of any University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University.

• Candidates need not apply to the college.
• Candidates must apply for TNEA counseling.
• TNEA Counseling Code for SSEC is 2673.
• The application fee for Open Category Students is Rs. 5000/-
• Application Fee for reserved category students is Rs. 1000/-
• The candidate has to pay TNEA counseling fee after the seat allotment and document verification process.

• Admissions are done under Anna University Centralized Counseling.

• The candidates concerned should, therefore, write to the Registrar of the Anna University/ DoTE in advance to obtain and produce in original, the documentary evidence of acceptance by the University/DoTE.
• Only those candidates selected for the merit and NRI quota will be intimated at the first instance.
• Those who applied against possible lapsed seat (if any) will have to wait till the Government of Tamilnadu closes the admissions, to find out the vacancies (if any).
• The Principal reserves the right of refusing to admit the candidate, if on verification of the original certificate the candidate is found to be ineligible for admission or any suppression of particulars detected.
