Eligibility Criteria for Admissions at SSU

• Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech must have completed the graduation in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) and have valid GATE scores.
• Students who wish to join the B.Tech programme must have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent examination with 45% marks (40% for minority/other category candidates) from a recognised board, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology etc.
• For admission to MBA programme, the candidate should have any bachelor degree of a UGC recognised university (B.Com, B.Sc., BA, BCA, BBA, B.Tech, B.Pharm., LLB etc.) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for minority/other category candidates).
• For BBA admissions, the candidate must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for minority/other category candidates).
• For admission to MCA programme, the candidate should have passed the bachelor’s degree of 3 years duration from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for minority/other category candidates) & having passed either of Mathematics, Statistics, Business Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Programming at degree or 10+2 level.
• For admission to BCA programme, the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognised education board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for minority/other category candidates).
• Interested students seeking admission for any PG course (M.Sc, MA, MJMC etc.) must have completed the bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university.

Cutoff for Admissions at SSU

• Candidates are considered on the basis of their performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination as conducted by the respective education board.
• Candidates must satisfy all the given eligibility criteria in order to be considered for admission, failing which the application will be considered null and void.
• B.Tech Applicants who have scored the highest marks in 10+2 as well as the relevant entrance examinations will be called for the initial rounds of counselling and will be granted first preference in the core branch they want to choose. These students will have to produce valid scores for JEE or other relevant Engineering entrance tests.
• Interested applicants seeking admission to Arts, Science and Commerce courses will be given admissions on first come first serve basis, or may have to go through a personal interview round.
• Candidates who wish to join postgraduate courses will have to show marks of their graduation course qualifying examinations, along with projects/thesis/portfolio etc. in order to be considered for admission.
• Merit and rankings are the most important basis on which admissions are granted to the applicants.

Hostel and Mess at SSU

• The hostels at Sri Sai University have been designed with the intention to make students feel at home.
• The students are given opportunities to socialise and manage their living independently without help.
• The hostels are equipped with in-house laundry system, refrigerators, Wifi, non-stop power and water supply.
• Students have access to books, newspapers and television while living in the hostels.
• There is 24-hour water heating and safe drinking water available for inmates in the hostels.
• Students are given the choice on whether to take up single, double or triple sharing rooms, every hosteller is provided with a bed and desk for him/herself.
• There are also common recreational areas with a pantry where hostellers can socialise and break the ice.
• The hostels have a well-maintained mess system where nutritious food is served everyday.
• 24-hour security is deployed on campus and around the hostels for safety of the students.
