Srinivas College of Physiotherapy BPT Admission 2024

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a four-year full-time academic program with a semester pattern. After passing the fourth year of education, the student will undergo a six months period of compulsory rotatory internship in various clinical departments. The admission details of BPT program are given below.

BPT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed PUC/ 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 45% marks. A valid scorecard in the qualifying examination is mandatory for Srinivas College of Physiotherapy admission.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Masters Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. The percentage in marks is relaxed to 50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST or Cat-I.

PhD Selection Process

Applications for the Entrance Test shall be invited twice a year in the months of January& June, depending on the vacancies existing in each subject. Students who have qualified, M.Phil/ NET/ SLET or GATE are exempted from the entrance exam. However, they should attend the interview compulsory.

Srinivas College of Physiotherapy is offering admission to a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Certificate to eligible PhD Degree holders. PDF is a one-year course and is also encouraged by UGC guidelines.

PDF Eligibility Criteria

The candidate who is interested in this course must have a Doctorate Degree in the relevant subject from any universities/ institutions recognized by UGC or Association of India Universities (AIU). The applicant must have a Doctoral Degree (PhD) from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a minimum of five years Post Doctoral Research Experience.

• The applicant must have published a minimum of 10 research publications as the first author in refereed journals after PhD. The proposed D.Sc/ D.Litt thesis shall be related to these published papers.
• The thesis submitted for D.Sc/ D.Litt should not have been submitted to any universities for the award of any type of Degree.
• Those who already hold a D.Sc/ D.Litt Degree in a particular discipline are eligible to register for the program in another discipline after a gap of two years provided that evidence of standard publications as per fresh eligibility are produced in the second discipline in which he /she intends to submit for D.Sc Degree.
