SICSR University Scholarships

SICSR is affiliated with Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The university's different scholarships are also applicable to students who wish to pursue management programs at SICSR.

SICSR Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships at SICSR are offered on the grounds of academic excellence and scores. Some of the SICSR scholarships for merit are listed down below:

• Symbiosis International (Deemed University) awards the top five students from IIT who join any of the institutes under the university for management programs. These SICSR scholarships are 20% Tuition-Fee Waivers to those students once they pass the SNAP/GE PIWAT examinations and are selected for the scholarships.
• In addition, during the course, semester toppers are also provided scholarships for various programs.
• In addition to the above Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research scholarships, students are awarded the SIU Sports Scholarship for exemplary display of sportsmanship.  

SICSR Other Scholarships

SICSR scholarship has several scholarship programs for students belonging to different socio-economic backgrounds. The other scholarships that are offered to students are given below:

SICSR International Scholarship

This SICSR scholarship will be offered to the "Foreign National" students of Symbiosis from 2023-24. Scholarships for an MBA are provided to eligible international students admitted into the college to celebrate 50 years of providing top-notch education to its students.

The scholarship waives the academic fees of the Foreign National Students

SICSR International Scholarship Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required

The eligibility criteria and documentation requirements of this scholarship are elucidated below:

• A valid foreign passport is required.
• Only "Foreign National" students are eligible for this SICSR scholarship 2024.
• Indian, NRI, OCI, and PIO students do not qualify for this scholarship.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate students also must pass their graduation with 50% or more marks.
• International students in short-term, doctoral and part-time programs are not eligible.
• Students must also appear for an English Proficiency Test conducted by the British Council (IELTS). A score of 6 or the IELA Test with a minimum band of 3 is required for eligibility for this SICSR scholarship.

SICSR NER Scholarships for Students from North-East Region

Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research scholarships are offered to meritorious students belonging to the Northeast Region of India (NER). Students from the northeast states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura Manipal, and Sikkim can apply for this scholarship.

This SICSR scholarship waives only the academic fees. The rest of the expenses must be taken care of by the student.

NER Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria required for this scholarship are elucidated below:

• Only "NER" students are eligible for this SICSR scholarship 2024.
• Indian, NRI, OCI, and PIO students do not qualify for this scholarship.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate students also must pass their graduation with 50% or more marks.
• International students in short-term, doctoral and part-time programs are not eligible.

Documents Required for NER Scholarship

The documents required for this scholarship are mentioned below:

• A valid domicile certificate is required.
• Proof of Academic Scores/Marksheets.
• Statement of Purpose.
• Letter of recommendation from a Gazetted Officer/Principal of School/college.
• Any other document that the SICSR Scholarship Committee requires during admission.

SICSR Scholarships by The Government of India

SICSR tries to provide equal education opportunities to all its students, irrespective of their physical capabilities. With tie-ups with the Government of India, SICSR scholarships are offered for disabled students.
