University College of Engineering, Rajasthan Technical University, [UCE-RTU] was established by the Government of Rajasthan in 2006 and was named Engineering College, Kota. The University Strives to provide quality education to meet the needs of the profession and society. They help students develop problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, enhance innovations, team-spirit, and ethical responsibilities.

The motive of the college is to be an eminent institute of technical education and research by achieving excellence in academics and innovation and to serve societal and industrial needs.

UCE-RTU Infrastructure Facilities:

University College of Engineering, Rajasthan Technical University makes regular efforts to enhance its infrastructure within the campus. State of art lush green campus can be seen and it is the largest campus in the whole Rajasthan which is 385 acres in area and has a total built-up area of 54,000 sqm. Workshops, Laboratories, Gymnasium, ATM, Post office, Dispensary, and gathering ground. The addition of New Hostels, Lecture Theatres, Computer Center, and Department Blocks into the campus is a new experience for the students.

• The library consists of 97,440-course books, 43 national journals, and 9975 e-journals of all streams.
• Wi-Fi enabled facilities and Digital library.
• Diverse sports facilities comprise 3 indoor badminton courts and a gymnasium which is open 24×7 and has proper equipment and sports gear.

UCE-RTU Activities:

To make sure necessary activities do happen on a periodical basis there is a separate cell constituted by the name Student Activity Cell. This cell consists of clubs covering various aspects of engineering discipline with aesthetics. SAC focuses on technical aspects and also the overall personality development of the students. Students from these cells represent the institute to participate in the inter-college fest.

• Technical Council of SAC is an initiative undertaken by the students with guidance from faculty members. Technical Council organizes activities in councils such as the Aeromodelling Club, Master Builders, Robotics, Society of Automotive Engineer, Tech Knights, Techno Cryptic's, Words Worth, and Marketing Club.
• The creative council conducts Dance, Music, and Drama.
• Dance classes are taught to students from scratch, competitive teams participate in infest and events.
• Basic Music training is provided to students to bring out the latent talents in them and promotion of Indian Classical along with Western Music Culture is the basic motive of the club.
• Drama Club is constantly involved in bringing out the unique talent in each student by giving them freedom in choosing characters whoever they want to be. This also fights out the stage fear in students allowing them exposure and some proceed to create a career in the same.
• TEDXRTU aims in bringing up bright minds who are looking for some groundbreaking ideas that can drastically change and impact the communities' future.
• THAR(Technical Haecceity Acumen Resilience) is organized to bring all engineering students of various colleges of Rajasthan under a common banner and provide students a platform to showcase their engineering skills, creativity, and talents at a much bigger state level.
• Anukriti is the annual cultural fest organized by the university college of engineering, Rajasthan Technical University students. This platform showcases a spectacular and splendid display of talents from various fields such as dance, music, film fest, fine arts, literary, dramatics, quizzing, gaming, and many others.

University College of Engineering, Rajasthan Technical University Placements:

The University Training and Development Center was started to act as a bridge between prospective employers and students seeking employment. University College of Engineering, Rajasthan Technical University Placement center has linked with various industries, private and public sectors to facilitate and help students get training for placements.

• About 34.83% of students got placed in various leading firms through campus interviews in the year 2013-14.
• For the year 2013-14 out of 450 students, 333 were eligible and about 116 were placed.
• For the year 2015-16 191 Students got selected
• The year 2016-17 had 159 Students got selected for various companies
• In the year 2017-18 135 students were successfully placed in various companies
• For the year 2018-2019up to 22nd February 2019, 145 students are being placed in different companies including Infosys, TCS, Jaro Education, Wipro, and so on.

University College of Engineering, Rajasthan Technical University offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses. The fee structure for all the programs vary from one another

• The development fee of INR 2500 for the M.Tech Programme and INR 2500 for B.Tech Programmes is charged by the university.
• Caution money of INR 7500 is charged for both B. Tech and M.Tech Programmes
• Semester Fee for B.Tech and M.Tech amounts to INR 35,000
• Government-aided seats of B.Tech is INR 21,000 per annum, while government-aided seat fee for M.Tech is not applicable.
