UOK has been included in the list of Universities maintained by the UGC Act, 1956 on 23rd February 2004 and finally received Central Assistance in terms of rules framed under section 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956 as per Decision of Commission dated 22nd October 2012. UOK Departments

UOK has 6 disciplines, namely Arts, Commerce and Management, Education, Law, Science, and Social Science. Under the umbrella of the University of Kota, presently, around 180+ colleges are offering various academic programs. The various faculties offered at the UOK are as follows.

UOK Admission

UOK Admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission to courses like MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech, etc is done on the basis of CMAT/GATE/ UGC/ CSIR NET (JEF)/ SET. UOK's candidates can apply for various courses by filling in the application form. The notice of release of the application form will be available on the official website of the University of Kota. The mode of Payment for the UOK application form is through credit card/ debit card/ net banking. The candidates applying for UOK are required to upload scanned copies of the 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, caste certificate [if any], and disability certificate [if any].

UOK Eligibility Criteria

Numerous courses are offered by UOK, each of which has different eligibility criteria. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for their respective courses to get admitted to the same. Below is a list of a few courses offered by the university with their eligibility criteria

B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate applying for UOK must have completed 10+2/ equivalent in PCM/ PCMB stream from a recognized board.
• The candidate must have secured minimum of 48% for General [Rajasthan]/ pass marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ 60% [Other State]

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate applying for UOK must have completed B.Sc/ B.Sc-Tech/ B.Sc -B.Ed. degree with minimum of 55% marks for General Category [Rajasthan]/ 60% for Other State Candidates/ pass marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC [Rajasthan]

LLM Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate applying for UOK must have completed LL.B.
• The candidate must have secured minimum of 55% marks in case of General Category/ 50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC [Rajasthan State]/ 60% marks [Other State].

UOK Cutoff

UOK cut off 2021 has been released. The university offers various courses for UG and PG admissions. The candidates who are seeking admission at UOK are required to meet the cut-off criteria of the university and also secure reasonable marks in CMAT/ CAT  for MBA.

UOK Kota declares the UOK Result 2024 for the semester examinations for all the UG/PG/other courses on the official website. Furthermore, students who took the various exams can check the results online using credentials like roll number and date of birth to access UOK results PDFs. The students can opt for revaluation and re-totalling at UOK if their results are unsatisfactory. Suppose the student fails to acquire the minimum passing marks in one or more subjects. In that case, they must retake the examination for the semester paper. The students at UOK need to access the application form from the official web portal for re-examination; the filled application form must be submitted to the concerned department.

UOK Infrastructure

UOK infrastructure includes almost all the necessities that the students need for their education. The canteen at UOK is spacious, well-maintained, and serves hygienic and healthy food for the students. The students and staff at UOK are provided with regular health check-up facilities by the Senior Medical Officer who works on a part-time basis at the University.

UOK Placements

UOK's placement cell is very aggressive in making its students get placed. The official Kota University placement 2024 report has not been released by the university yet. The report submitted to NIRF states that 10 students got placed in the PG 2-year program with a median package of INR 2 LPA. The students of UOK who have completed their degrees or who are in the final year of their studies are eligible to appear for the placement drives. The University of Kota has a Placement and Counseling Cell that manages all placement-related activities.
