Fee Waiver Scheme

The State Government has started a fee waiver scheme to help the economically poor but meritorious students. Further information regarding this can be obtained from the office of the Registrar.

Education Loans

Getting Education is no longer an insurmountable problem these days. Education loans are available to the needy and deserving students from the Nationalized Banks at reasonable rates of interest. Theses loans are repayable after the completion of the degree/diploma.

Financial Help

It is a motto with the management of our Group, “Poverty would not be allowed to stand in the way of the completion of the education of meritorious students. Such students are generously helped. Academically intelligent and poor students to acquire higher education by giving them financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver. Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations/competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations. The parents of meritorious students are also honoured along with the students in the annual functions of the Colleges.

Fees & Scholarships : University of Agricultural Sciences, [UAS] Bangalore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 35,000 per year. But as I have opted for a college outside my state I even got a scholarship of 3k per month.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission in uas bangalore through ICAR exam conducted around june every year. The application forms are released in the month of April. Anybody can give this exam after 12th. The streams needed are biology or maths. UAS Bangalore is one of the top university in its field. It's very active in taking regular classes and conducting exams.  Even being a government college the facilities are very good. If u get a college outside your home state, you will be given a monthly scholarship too. The campus has an area of around of 1300 acres with a lush green environment in which you will never get bored of. 

Placements & Internships : Placement chances are not that high so you have to go for outside exams after graduation. But the university students always gets good rank in the jrf and srf exams. If you are thinking of msc after bsc this university is a good option for your career.

Academics & Faculty : The classes are quite hectic and get over at 5 in the evening sometimes. The gate for the girls hostel even closes at 6:30 so it's a bit tiring.

Clubs & Associations : The college has its magazine committee, students association and student counsellors.Sports and events are also good. the university students won several matches at natinal level and state level.

Fees & Scholarships : It'll be fixed by the government and university I guess it varies year to year, during my course the fee structure was INR 10000 per semester, we have 8 semesters. Beginning that is during the first year have to pay government fee as well it was around INR 18000, Final year you will be having a stipend for RAWEP program will be given by college

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 12+ in Karnataka, also you can apply based on agricultural quota if any KCET exam conducted by KEA. 2000 ranking for GM. You can also attend practical exams for getting special agricultural ranking if you are applying under agricultural quota.

Placements & Internships : I secured MHRD scholarship for 4 long years, (you can get it if the cgpa is above 7) Marketing company, seeds and fertilizer company, some food industries etc. It varies from INR 20000-40000 per month. Had very good alumni so far as I observed.

Academics & Faculty : We will have classes from 8 am to 5 pm, during which 2 hrs to 3 hrs of theory classes and 4 hrs of practical classes of various subjects, we would love to visit various fields, field works are very good experience, teachers are also very nice teaching methods are best, we will get more exposure to out of class experience that is field works, growing crops, collection of insects, making herbarium all these practical exposures teaches us the reality of what we study.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : We had very good hostel facilities, food is also very good. Hostel fee is around INR 2500 per month. Outside the college we get so many pgs which are quite costly. All infrastructure are very good and up to the mark.

Clubs & Associations : Student associations are there, I was a part of Kannada Balaga where we students used to arrange programs called Kannada Tingala Habba every month about Karnataka culture, dance forms, motivational speech etc with the help of lectures. There are some other associations as well. We used to celebrate Independence day, Republic day, college annual fest, fresher's party and send-off parties as well. college life was awesome it gave me good opportunity to learn many things in my life and wear graduation as a crown on my head.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is around INR 33000 per year including hostel and mess charges available on the university campus. For four years on an average INR 52000-54000 are needed to complete the degree. Apart from this there are plenty of scholarship gateways for all the categories of students. INR 10-13 thousand scholarship in every 6 months. And SC / ST are given concession. They need not pay fees for the degree. They only have to pay mess and hostel charges for 4 years if staying. Otherwise it's free for them. This university also has foreign and NRI students admissions.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : UAS Bangalore is an agricultural university providing a degree in Agriculture. Agri marketing and Agri engineering. Any science student who has taken PCMB during their 11th and 12th class can write state exam and get into this university. Centrally there is an exam called ICAR exam which can also be applied to get into this university. To get into this course the most important thing is having PCMB in class 11th n 12th. The students who only have PCB will be made to take up mathematics after joining the course. Having a score of about 60% in boards is necessary to get into this college.  College has good ambience and excellent staff and infrastructure. Provides a wide variety of subjects and a good education learning programme. It is overall a very good college to join. It stands at 5th position in India for Agri colleges and 2nd in the southern region for agriculture studies.

Placements & Internships : This college provides bachelors, masters and Ph.D in various fields. It has extensive research labs and infrastructure to learn, teach and carry out experimentations on the field.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are on all the days except Sundays. Saturday is a half day. Morning from 9 to Evng 5 classes are there with 45 min lunch break at 12 in the afternoon. Teaching is mostly digital. Professors teach through power point presentations and other tools to make student learning effective. This college provides quality education. They believe in learning by doing so more of practical explanation and work will be allowed so that we don't only read and learn but also perform what we are learning in real life.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 hostels one for M.Sc students, one for B.Sc students and an international students hostel. The fees per month is mere INR 2500/- with a security deposit of INR 13000/- at the time of entering into the hostel. It's best to stay on campus than pgs. Food is good they provide nutritive 3 meals a day with snacks at 4pm. Food has both south and north indian options. Classrooms are big. And they are smart classrooms. Labs are equipped with modern technologies. Wi-Fi is available. Dining hall is clean and spacious with a TV. And rooms in the hostel are also excellent.

Clubs & Associations : There are many student societies and clubs. Indoor games area, Football, Basketball, all kinds of courts are available for students. Apart from academics college also supports cultural and sports activities and is an active member in participation at different interstate and national level competitions. All kinds of festivals are celebrated. Life in college is quite blissful, enjoyable and disciplined too.
