Admission to USICT, New Delhi is either through the National Test level or through Common Entrance Test IPU-CET, which is conducted by the university. The selection of the candidates is based on the merit of the entrance and qualifying examinations and through the counseling process.

USICT Eligibility Criteria

USICT B.Tech Eligibility

• For admission to the Bachelor of Technology course, the candidate must have completed 10+2 or the equivalent examination and must have scored at least a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

USICT M.Tech Eligibility

• The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in either BE or B.Tech in a relevant field of Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks.
• The candidates need to have a valid GATE or CET score.

University School of Information Communication and Technology Cutoff

The procedure for admission at USICT is mainly through an entrance test namely IPU-CET. The candidates who have secured the highest marks will be given the first preference of seats and the core branch of their choice. Subsequent admissions will be done according to the merit lists until all seats have been filled. Any students who are found not to fall within the eligibility criteria will be disqualified from the selection process and therefore will not gain admission to the respective courses. A 5% relaxation in the cut-off percentage is given to SC/ST and other backward category candidates.
