Any aspiring candidate who is a bachelor's degree holder of four year duration in engineering, technology, or pharmacy is eligible. Apart from this, the candidates who have completed their post-graduation in science, economics, or commerce and have studied mathematics or statistics at the graduation level are also eligible to apply. VGSOM MBA fee is INR 12.85 Lakhs for two year duration. For the applicants who are still working, their experience would be counted latest upto February 5, 2024. It would be irrespective of the date the candidate filled the application form.
Step 3: Calculation of Total Score for Candidate Shortlisting
For the candidates who meet the minimum CAT percentile criterion, their overall CAT scaled score out of 20 and the application rating are added to get the total score for shortlisting. Four marks are added to the total score of all the female candidates as per the Gender Diversity Factor (GDF).
Step 4: Final Selection of the Candidates
The final selection of the candidates is based on the cumulative score which is calculated after the addition of the application rating, CAT Scores, and the marks obtained by the candidate in the personal interview round. Here, 10 marks are awarded to the female candidates considering the Gender Diversity Factor (GDF). Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM) offers the Executive MBA program to the senior and mid career professional who wish to hold top-level managerial positions and upgrade their leadership potential. The students who graduate with an EMBA degree also eligible to enroll for the Ph.D program. The tuition fee for the VGSOM EMBA is INR 18 Lakhs. This fee includes the charges for the course material as well. In the beginning,the candidates are required to pay an acceptance fee of INR 50,000 while accepting the VGSOM EMBA admission offer letter. These acceptance charges are non-refundable in nature. Also, INR 1.50 Lakhs are to be paid during registration and the rest amount is to be paid in four installments of INR 4 Lakhs each. The candidates who wish to acquire an Executive MBA from the Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM) should possess atleat three years of relevant work experience and a first class bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology disciplines. Also, the aspirants who are first class master degree holders in science, economics or commerce disciplines are also eligible to apply for this program.

The selection of the candidates opting for the VGSOM EMBA courses is based on a written test round followed by personal interview round at Kolkata/Jamshedpur. The reservation of the seats for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or the candidates belonging to the other backward classes would be done as per GOI rules of IIT Kharagpur.
The candidates should fill out the application form with the correct details and pay the application fee of INR 1000 online. This application fee is non-refundable in nature.
Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM) offers Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) in collaboration with IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur and ISI. This diploma program is offered at the post graduate level for two years duration in full time mode. The candidates are selected based on their performance in the computer based test (CBT) and ,personal interview round. Apart from this, the academic background and work experience of the candidates is also taken into consideration. The maximum seat intake for this program is 65 for the academic session (2024-26). The aspiring candidates should have completed their graduation or post graduation and should have passed with a minimum of 60% marks in order to be eligible for selection. The VGSOM PGDBA fee is INR 25 Lakhs for a two year tenure. This fee covers charges like tuition fee, on-campus accommodation, books and study material cost, examination fee and so on.
