DAVV CET Counselling 2023: Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment

DAVV CET 2023 counselling dates will be announced on the official website.Shortlisted candidates were called for the counselling process. The counselling of DAVV CET 2023 will take place in the online mode, where candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance. DAVV CET 2023 Counselling Process

The candidates in order to take part in DAVV CET 2023 counselling process, must first register themselves by using the following steps. 

  • Candidates who have cleared DAVV CET 2023 examination, first have to register themselves for the counselling process by paying the fees that have been prescribed by the examination authority. 
  • Registered candidates will be called for the counselling process at the university. 
  • The admission authority of DAVV will verify the candidate’s documents, i.e. both original and photocopy. 
  • After which seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their ranks on the merit list.

Documents Required for DAVV CET Counselling

Candidates need to carry the following documents at the time of counselling in original as well as a photocopy (self-attested) - 

  • Passport size photographs
  • Copy of counselling registration form
  • Print out of score/ merit obtained
  • Mark sheet/ grade sheet of qualifying examination: 10th,12th and graduation as applicable 
  • Transfer certificate: original + 1 photocopy (self attested)
  • Migration certificate (if applicable): original + 1 photocopy (self attested)
  • Caste certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer) candidate: original for verification + 1 photocopy (self attested) only for M.P. domicile
  • Income certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer) candidate: original for verification + 1 photocopy (self attested) nly for M. P. domicile
  • M.P. domicile certificate: original for verification, if applicable + 1 photocopy (self attested)
  • EWS certificate from the competent authority.
  • PwD certificate from the competent authority.
  • J & K migrant: original for verification + 1 photocopy
  • Affidavit for gap in studies (if applicable): original + 1 photocopy

DAVV CET 2023 Counselling- Process to Cancel Seats

Candidates who do not get a seat till the second round or wish to secure a seat in the third round (vacant seats) have to register afresh.

  • Even candidates who have already registered in the first and the second round have to register again for the vacant seat round or third round.
  • Candidates who have already been allotted seats can also apply, and bring their allotment letter along with the fee receipt of the first or second round of counselling. 
  • Necessary details regarding the vacant seats for the third round of counselling will be mentioned on the official website of the university.
  • After registering online, the candidates have to report to the counselling venue along with the required documents.

DAVV CET 2023: Tie-breaking Policy

 If more than two or more students score similar marks, then the university will apply a tie-breaking rule to decide and break the tie. Check the tie-breaking formula below as per the sequence.

  • Age seniority is considered first.
  • If the age of both the candidates is also the same, then the candidate’s name in alphabetical order gets considered.

DAVV CET 2023 Counselling Fees

Without the payment for any particular stage of admission, the admission is nullified. DAVV CET 2023 counselling fee and associated information has been given below. 

  • DAVV CET 2023 counselling fee is INR 10,000.
  • The fee is supposed to be paid via a demand draft drawn in favour of 'Registrar(self finance) others' which is payable at Indore.

DAVV CET Counselling 2023- Refund

  • If a candidate leaves the seat before the last day of DAVV CET 2023 counselling, the registration fee will be refunded after a deduction of INR 1000.
  • Only the caution money will be refunded if the candidate leaves any seat before the said dates.
  • If a provisionally admitted student does not pass the last qualifying exam, then after a deduction of INR 1000 the fee deposited gets refunded.

DAVV CET Counselling 2023- Reservation Seats 

Candidates who have attended DAVV CET 2023 counselling will be allotted seats based on the following. 

  • 10% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) from the MP State.
  • One seat on an over and above basis will be reserved for PwD candidates with a disability percentage of 40% or above. It must be noted that this policy will be exempted from the BA LLB Hons programme.
  • For SC and ST category candidates, the university reserves around 16% to 20% seats.
  • 30% of horizontal reservation of seats is done for the female candidates.
  • For the candidates belonging to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), a total of 14% seats are reserved.
  • Candidates belonging to the employee ward category will get admissions as per the university guidelines.
  • To avail the reservation benefit, a certificate from the competent authority has to be produced by the candidates at the time of admission.
