National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers NEET, a national entrance exam for BDS admissions. Students must pass the paper-and-pencil version of NEET to be admitted to BDS programs.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS
NEET MDS will be administered by the National Board of Examination (NBE) to offer qualified applicants admission. Students must take the entrance exam if they meet the eligibility requirements. The candidates' merits will be taken into consideration while allocating seats. To qualify for NEET MDS, students must have earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) PG
The AIIMS PG entrance exam is administered online for admission to MDS courses. In addition, students must hold a BDS degree from a university approved by the Indian Dental Council. AIIMS PG admissions will be granted based on performance in the admission exam and eligibility requirements being met.
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) PG
Students can also take the JIPMER PG exam to be considered for admission to the institute's MDS programs. The admission exam will be conducted using a computer. The applicants will also need to satisfy the necessary eligibility requirements in addition to obtaining a passing score on the admission exam.
Students must take and pass the entrance exam to be admitted to PGI, Chandigarh. There will be about 18 seats available for admission through PGIMER, and applicants must take the one-and-a-half-hour exam, which will include 100 multiple-choice questions.
IPU CET
IPU CET full form is Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. It is an online entrance exam at the university level for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, Dental, Medicine, Law, and Management.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, also known as GGSIPU, conducts exams for various programs and streams offered at the university for admissions. The process starts with an online registration form and ends with counselling.
- Courses: IPU CET 2023 offers B.Com, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, LLB, BAMS, BHMS, and BBA.
- Level: IPU CET 2023 is a university-level exam.
- Pattern: IPU CET exam will be conducted online for all programs comprising 150 MCQs for 150 minutes. IPU CET 2023 syllabus and exam pattern vary for different courses. For every correct answer, the applicant will get four marks. The candidate will lose one score if the answers are incorrect.
GCET 2023
The full form of GCET is Goa Common Entrance Test. GCET is a state-level entrance examination test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) under the regulation of the Government of Goa. DTE invites candidates of Goa state for admission to the first year of professional degree courses. Courses in Engineering and Pharmacy, Architecture courses through NATA, and GCET admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), Allied Health Sciences, BAMS (Ayurveda), and Nursing courses will be based on NEET-UG.
Goa CET 2023 or GCET 2023 is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the government of Goa for pursuing degree courses like Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Architecture, etc.
INICET
INI CET stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. This exam is conducted to provide admission into PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and more. In addition, INI CET 2023 scores are valid for admission into all other 12 AIIMS campuses.
Candidates have to appear for the online test for different programs and attempt it within 180 minutes.
