About FTII JET
The full form of FTII JET is the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test. FTII entrance exam is intended to give admission to aspirants who wish to study courses in Direction & Screenplay Writing, Editing, Acting, Cinematography, Feature Film Screenplay Writing, Sound Designing & Recording, and Art Direction & Production Design at the Film and Television Institute of India.

- The minimum FTII JET qualification for candidates interested in Art Direction & Production Design courses is a bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Architecture, Sculpture, Painting, Interior Design, a related field in Fine Arts, or an equivalent diploma.

FTII JET 2024 Syllabus for Flim Wing Course
The Film Wing has two sections - A and B. In section, A candidates will be asked questions from the General Aptitude which includes questions from Architecture, Art, Cinema, etc.
In section B, candidates will be asked questions from the Specific Area Aptitude. This section will ideally have long descriptive questions, descriptive-type questions & short notes-type questions.
FTII JET 2024 Syllabus for Television Wing Course
In Television Wing, there are essentially 3 sections - A, B & C. Section A comprises of General Aptitude which will have questions related to General Awareness & Television, Digital Media & Electronics.
Sections B will have questions based on long descriptive type questions and section C in Television Wing will also have Special Area Aptitude Test.
FTII JET 2024 Admission Process
FTII will release the list of candidates selected for FTII JET 2024 Orientation and Interaction/Interview after the exam conduction. Candidates can check the list on the official website using their roll number.
Based on the scores obtained by the candidates, they are called for the admission rounds. These include personal interviews and auditions (in the case of Acting courses). There will also be medical tests for candidates before the interview.
