JK SET Syllabus 2023: Paper 1
JK SET Paper 1 includes the Teaching and Research Aptitude subjects. JKSET Paper 1 syllabus includes different topics from 10 units. A total of five questions carrying two marks each are asked from each of the 10 units.

- Teaching: Concept, objectives, levels of teaching, characteristics, and basic requirements.
- Learner’s characteristics: Characteristics of adolescent and adult learners, individual differences.
- Factors affecting teaching related to: Teacher, learner, support material, instructional facilities, learning environment, and institution.
- Methods of teaching in higher learning institutions: Teacher-centred vs learner-centered methods, offline vs online methods.
- Teaching support system: Traditional, modern and ICT based.
- Evaluation systems: Elements and types of evaluation, evaluation in choice-based credit systems in higher education, computer-based testing, innovations in evaluation systems.

JK SET Exam Pattern 2023
JK SET Exam Pattern is provided in tabular structure:
- Exam Mode: The examination will be held offline for both papers.
- Number of Questions: Paper 1 will include 50 questions while Paper 2 will consist of 100 questions.
- Marking: Candidates will receive 2 marks for each correct answer, there will be no negative marking in the examination.
