The Government of India promotes the M.Tech scholarships 2023 for meritorious students and helps them continue their education without any financial hurdles. Reliance Foundation Scholarship

The Reliance Foundation has introduced the Reliance foundation scholarship for students pursuing academic studies in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It intends to encourage them to aspire for higher studies. The sole purpose of the M.Tech scholarship scheme is to nurture young minds and help them evolve in their specific disciplines. A maximum M.Tech scholarship amount of INR 6,00,000 will be given to the worthy applicants. For availing of the scholarship, the candidate must meet the specified M.Tech eligibility criteria.

 The deadline for submitting the Reliance foundation scholarship applications is February 14, 2023 (tentatively).

GLA University Admission Scholarship 

The GLA university grants the GLA university scholarship to the academically brilliant students studying in M.Tech courses. The M.Tech scholarship 2023 is provided to meritorious students on a merit basis and the percentile scored in the respective examinations. In order to qualify for the M.Tech scholarship scheme, the candidate must enroll in B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ M.Tech/ M.Pharma/ Ph.D. courses in GLA university. Additionally, the applicants must have cleared the entrance examinations of JEE Mains/ GATE/ GLAET with the required marks. 

The candidates who qualify for the M.Tech scholarship will be awarded INR 1,33,000 (GATE qualified candidates) and INR 1,05,000 (Non-GATE and GLAET qualified candidates).

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Junior Research Fellowship

The Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology invites meritorious and academically competent candidates. It provides them the opportunity to gain experience and advance their knowledge in the Junior research fellowship. The applicants who are 30 years of age pursuing higher studies in M.Tech/ M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives/ Power System/ Energy Systems and other related specializations can apply for the scholarship. Additionally, the candidate should have scored decent marks in their GATE entrance examination to qualify for the M.Tech scholarship scheme. The M.Tech scholarship for GATE qualified rewards INR 31,000 and 16% HRA per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 and 16% HRA per month the following year.

DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls

The DRDO scholarship scheme is organized by the Research and Development wing of the Ministry of Defense. It aims to empower the girls to attain academic independence. The scholarship is for the worthy female candidates who have the appropriate caliber and have scored at least 60% in B.Tech/B.E. examinations. Additionally, they should also secure good grades in GATE/JEE exams. The selection process of the M.Tech scholarship is strictly on a merit basis, and the applicant must ensure that they score decently in the mentioned entrance examinations. The scholarship scheme will present a reward of INR 1,86,000 for postgraduate and INR 1,20,000 for undergraduate candidates.

TATA Steel Millennium Scholarship

The TATA steel millennium scholarship is presented to the meritorious candidates and encourages them to aspire to higher education in their technical fields. It aims to provide the necessary financial assistance to deserving applicants. The rewards and eligibility criteria of the M.Tech scholarships depend upon different category levels. 

Category A

  • Students who have secured decent marks in the JEE entrance exams and have enrolled in the B.Tech/ Degree in Engg. in IITs/ IT BHU/ ISM Dhanbad/ PGDM courses in IIMS/XLRIs.
  • A total of 120 scholarships are provided to the candidates pursuing M.Tech degrees who are motivated to complete their postgraduate degrees.
  • A maximum of INR 50,000 will be allotted to the selected applicants.

Category B

  • Under this category, the candidates who have been selected for professional courses in their specific disciplines at a reputed university can apply.
  • The qualified applicants will get a maximum of INR 24,000 upon selection, and 360 scholarships will be disbursed among worthy candidates.

However, after fulfilling the desired selection criteria, the children of existing workers at TATA steel cannot apply. Particular preference will be given to the candidates belonging to the ST/SC category.

Focus Area Science Technology Summer Fellowship

The Inter-Academy Panel has initiated the Focus Area Science technology summer fellowship and intends to give monetary assistance to students and help them achieve higher education. The foremost objective of the scholarship is to encourage students to aim high and pursue their careers in science and technology. This M.Tech scholarship scheme invites students and teachers from North-Eastern India, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and union territories of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. The applicants in schools/colleges should have accreditation from UGC/ AICTE/ MCI accredited state/private universities.

ICMR-DHR International Fellowships

The ICMR and DHR encourage young talents by providing them with advanced training facilities and the latest advancements. This international fellowship intends to provide students opportunities and motivate them to make significant contributions to society. Interested applicants must be from India and should hold a degree in M.D/ M.S/ Ph.D degree (M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S. or MBBS/ BDS/ MVSc./ M.Sc./ M.Pharma/ M.Tech or equivalent with Ph.D. in health/ biomedical research) with at least three years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institute after completion of their respective qualifications. The candidates selected for the M.Tech scholarship scheme will be rewarded with USD 3,000 per month and other accommodation and educational expenses.

DBT Junior Research Fellowships

The Ministry of Science and Technology, government of India, promotes the DBT junior research fellowships to motivate the students to pursue their career in M.Sc./ M.Tech or M.V.Sc degrees from AICTE/UGC recognized universities. Selected applicants will get a maximum M.Tech scholarship amount of INR 25,000/28,000 per month.

CSIR-IMTECH Chandigarh Internship Program

The CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology (CSIR-IMTECH) provides the CSIR-IMTECH Chandigarh Internship program to students to hold exceptionally commendable academic records and be interested in the technical domain. Candidates studying in M.Sc., M. Pharma, M. Tech., B. Pharma, B. Tech., MCA, and equivalent from UGC recognized universities can undertake this scholarship program to complete the education in respective disciplines. The worthy candidates who get qualified for this scholarship scheme will receive various rewards and benefits.

Kashmir Education Initiative Post Graduate Scholarship Program

The Kashmir education initiative is a merit-based scholarship provided to students pursuing post-graduation degrees from different universities in Kashmir. The main agenda of this initiative is to give monetary assistance to the talented students of Kashmir and furnish them the opportunity to complete their education in the U.S. Those interested in applying for the M.Tech scholarship scheme must score at least 70% marks in their undergraduate. Additionally, the annual remuneration of the family must not surpass INR 5,00,000.

Step 6: The candidate should upload the relevant documents and the M.Tech scholarship online form.

Step 7: After successfully filling in the details, they can take an extended preview and submit the application form.
