Paper 2
This paper contains 3 sections: general aptitude, drawing, and mathematics. Aptitude has 50 questions, and mathematics has 30. Furthermore, in the case of Paper 2A (B.Arch), it has 2 drawing questions (the drawing section carries a score near 100), and in the case of 2B (B.Planning), there are 25 planning questions.
Besides, three hours are allotted for the exam, and a half-hour extra if one is attempting Paper 2A and 2B. The exam is online for planning, mathematics and aptitude tests. However, the drawing exam is in offline/ pen-paper mode.
The scoring criterion is the same as Paper 1 for aptitude and mathematics. For drawing, the candidate has to showcase their sketching skills.
General Aptitude
There are 2 parts to the General Aptitude (GA) section of JEE Main Paper 2. It tests the perception of 3 dimensionalities for a given object. By building forms and elements, candidates have to understand and appreciate the scale and proportion of objects with an understanding of colour, texture, harmony, and contrast.
