Moreover, JEE Main exam centres have been reduced from 394 exam cities to 341 previous year. According to the media reports, 15 exam cities from Madhya Pradesh, 20 cities from Bihar, and 2 Union Territories, namely Chandigarh and Daman & Diu, have been removed from the list. In addition, a few exam cities is expected to be replaced by new cities.

- Candidates are advised to reach the JEE Main exam centre at least two hours before.
- They are required to bring all the items needed to complete the JEE Main exam.

JEE Main Guidelines for Scribe
Candidates with disabilities have a unique facility to request a scribe or a reader. Candidates should go through the guidelines below to apply for a Scribe or a Reader.
- Exceptional Candidates must fill in the type and percentages of disability correctly while filling out the JEE Main application form. Any information that needs to be corrected can affect their resources.
- Candidates with 40% or more disability can request a scribe/reader.
- In case a candidate chooses their scribe/reader. They must have a sanctioned request from the centre superintendent.
- The scribe can only help candidates with the JEE Main exam centre superintendent's approval.
- If a candidate has the approval of a scribe, they are allowed to meet their scribe only a day before JEE Main 2025 exam to verify the suitability of the scribe.
- Candidates with 40% or more disability have a provision that allows them to have 1 hour of compensatory time, irrespective of the scribe/reader's facility.
