IP University (GGSIPU) BEd Admission 2025

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers 2 years B.Ed course to the students. Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in graduation can apply for the IPU B.ed Program. The application form for B.Ed 2025 is expected to be available by the first week of February 2025 on the GGSIPU official website. Applicants need to appear for IPU CET (offline) and CUET (online) and the selection will be based on the merit list. For the year 2024, the CUET UG was conducted from 15th May 2024 to 25th May 2024 and IPU CET was conducted from 27th April 2024 to 12th May 2024. 

The candidates who secure a place in the merit list will be invited for a counseling session which is the last step in the admission process. After clearing the counseling session, candidates can get admission to the B.Ed Program and submit the fees. IP University (GGSIPU) B.Ed Entrance Test 2025

GGSIPU conducts the entrance exam once a year for the applicants to pick the meritorious students. Candidates have to clear a written entrance test and score high to get on the merit list. The admissions are provided based on 2 different exams - CUET PG and IPU CET. The seats are first allotted based on the candidate's performance in IPU CET and the remaining seats are occupied as per CUET scores. The IPU B.ed entrance test is expected from April 2025 to May 2025. The entrance test is MCQ MCQ-based offline exam. The questions will include questions up to class 12th. Questions will be in both English and Hindi language except the english proficiency section. The exam will be of 2.5 hours and the question paper will have 100 questions.

Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the IP University B.ed admission 2025. Only the eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the entrance test. GGSIPU offers 2 types of B.ed courses - B.Ed and B.ed special education. 

• At Least 50% marks in Graduation from a recognized university or board or 55% marks in B.Tech with science and mathematics as focus subjects.

IP University (GGSIPU) B.Ed Application Process 2025

Applicants must follow the proper application process to avoid rejection of the form. The step-by-step process is mentioned below: 

• Visit Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's official website at ipu.ac.in
• Under the dropdown menu, select the “Admission Form”.
• Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration, and then start.
• Choose the B.Ed program and register using the candidate's name, mobile number, and email ID. Now, press on the "CET" course. 
• Candidates will get the link to the application form along with their user ID and password. 
• Now, enter personal details such as the name of the candidate, parent’s name, address, Date of birth, nationality, etc. 
• Enter all the required educational details.
• Upload the necessary documents and photographs. 
• Pay the application fees using net banking, UPI, Debit card, or credit card.

IP University (GGSIPU) B.Ed Entrance Test Pattern

After filling out the form and paying the application fees, eligible candidates have to appear for the entrance test GGSIPU-CET. The exam will be of 2.5 hours and the question paper will include questions from various subjects such as English language and comprehension, Mental ability, General Awareness, and Teaching Aptitude. There will be a total of 100 questions in the question paper and each question will carry 4 marks . 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer under negative marking.

IP University (GGSIPU) B.Ed Merit List 2025

The merit list will be prepared as per the performance of the candidates in the CET. High-scoring candidates will be included in the merit list. The seat allotment will be done to the merit list students first and the remaining seats will be allotted based on CUET marks of the candidates. The merit list ensures the admission of only deserving candidates to the university. In case of a tie in the CET result, other factors will be considered according to the university policies. Colleges will also be allotted according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
