GGSIPU offers modern amenities to students for a better learning experience. The campus is equipped with a library, sports facilities, hostel, etc. More details regarding the GGSIPU main campus are given below.
Library: The UIRC began with a collection of 2000 documents purchased by several schools. It is India's first institution to build a comprehensive library of reference materials in its inaugural year. The collection of print and non-print papers has increased from 2000 to 83,086. Also, the number of e-books in the GGSIPU library increased to 12,121 in 2019. The collection of e-journals has expanded from 3,547 in 2005 to 15,322 in 2019, including subscriptions to 15 online databases and e-resources.
Hostel: There are 2 young men hostel, Shivalik and Aravalli boys lodgings, and 2 girls hostel, Nilgiri and Satpura girls hostel. It is a home away from home for students GGSIPU. Each GGSIPU hostel room is equipped with essential amenities like a bunk, seat table and more.
