The State Department of Medical Education, Maharashtra has decided to allow Non-NEET candidates to apply for Undergraduate Courses in Nursing.
It has been mandatory for the candidates to clear National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) to apply for B.Sc Nursing from the past two years. This new announcement was made because of the failure in filling the undergraduate seats even after conducting 8 rounds. Now, all the students who have passed class XII in science stream can apply for Undergraduate courses in Nursing. The candidates who have been shortlisted are required to confirm their admission on or before 23rd October 2017.
