Admission to IIMs through GMAT Exam
The GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test is an adaptive computer test that evaluates a candidate's analytical writing, verbal, quantitative, and reading abilities in written English as a standard.
GMAC administers the GMAT assessment exam for E-MBA (Executive Master’s in Business Administration) programmes.
GMAT Eligibility

- The applicant must possess a graduation degree in any field from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent GPA. Whereas the eligibility requirements are eased to 45% for SC/ST/PWD.
- The applicant must take the GMAT exam and meet the sectoral and overall GMAT cut-off scores.
- Candidates for the IIMs who are in their last year of graduation or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have achieved the minimum GMAT cut-off must complete the WAT, GD, and PI processes.
- There is no minimum age limit required for the GMAT Exam. An applicant must only possess a graduation degree with at least 50% marks.

- Candidates must pass the Class 12 examination in any stream or the equivalent in the years 2020, 2021, or 2023, with a minimum cumulative score of 60% (or more for candidates from SC/ST/PwD).
- The passing grade for the Class 10 test should have been at least 60% overall (or 55% for students who are SC/ST/PwD), not earlier than 2018.
Score Criteria for JIPMAT Exam
The duration of the JIPMAT 2022 exam is 150 minutes. Each question is worth four points. A false answer will result in a loss of one mark. There are 100 questions overall, worth a total of 400 marks.
