CMAT 2022 Exam Guidelines: Documents, Dress Code

CMAT 2022 exam day guidelines specify all the rules and regulations that must be followed for the exam. All the aspiring candidates need to read and follow the CMAT guidelines before they arrive for the exam.

• Admit card is the most valuable document. Thus, it should be kept safe and carried to the exam hall. 
• Next, carry a legal photo ID proof. The document can be a voter ID or an Aadhaar card.
• Reach the allotted CMAT exam centre before time to complete the document verification and checking process. 
• Furthermore, candidates must carry their photographs. The photographs should be the same as presented on the admit card.  
• Candidates appearing from the PwD category must carry valid documents.

• Do carry the admit card for the CMAT examination.

DON’Ts

• Do not carry any electronic communication gadgets like mobile phones, BlueTooth devices, earphones, or headsets. 
• Do not carry calculators; these are highly unethical. 
• Candidates are not permitted to wear smartwatches, wristbands, or health bands. 
• Do not carry any extra piece of paper that can lead to the cancellation of the exam. 
• Do not wear any metallic jewellery or fancy ornaments. 

CMAT Exam Day Dress Code 

CMAT exam day rules are pretty crucial to follow. NTA has not specified any such dress code, but there are certain things that candidates can follow to avoid unnecessary checking.  

• Wear basic jeans or trousers, but that should be comfortable. 
• T-shirts with no pockets are the best option for dressing. 
• Candidates should wear masks and carry sanitisers. However, transparent hand sanitiser bottles are recommended. 
• No ornaments should be worn, or over accessorising is highly prohibited. 
• Further, candidates should wear slippers. Shoes with complicated structures must be avoided. 

Covid Precautions: CMAT Exam Day Guidelines

During this Covid-19 situation, candidates should follow some precautionary measures to avoid any further health disorientation. 

• Wearing a mask at all times is necessary.
• Carrying a hand sanitiser is a must.
• Maintaining a social distance at all times must be ensured. 
• Contactless exam execution is highly recommended. 

CMAT Exam Preparation Tips

Following the specified tips can yield high results. Therefore, here are some exam preparation tips for appearing in the CMAT Exam. 

• Concentrate on the Exam Syllabus and Pattern: Candidates should always start their preparation by considering the exam pattern and the NTA specified syllabus for the CMAT exam. Besides, the exam will be conducted in an online mode, and the total duration of the exam is 3 hours. 
• Create a Strategic Study Schedule: Next, candidates must build an exam preparation timetable. The primary strategy behind this schedule is to cover all the syllabus and yet to make time for revisions and mock tests.
• Take Admission in Coaching Centre: If there is a necessity, candidates can take admission in any CMAT coaching centre or try crash courses for admission. The coaching centre will enhance the exam preparation and provide strategies to crack the exam.
