Sundar Pichai
Pichai Sundararajan is commonly known as Sundar Pichai. He is an Indian American business executive and CEO, chief executive officer of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google LLC. He started his career as a materials engineer, and in 2004, he joined Google as a management executive. Later, Sundar Pichai rose to become Google's product chief and then CEO of Google in 2015, part of the restructuring process that made Alphabet Inc. into Google's parent company. After which, he also became the CEO of Alphabet Inc. in December 2019.
Sundar Pichai completed his metallurgical engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur and is a distinguished alumnus from IIT Kharagpur. He also holds an MS material science and engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar.

Pushpak Bhattacharyya
Bhattacharyya is a popular computer scientist and a professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. And currently, Pushpak is also the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Patna.
Besides this, he was the President of the Computational Linguistics Association. Presently he heads the Research Group Center for Indian Language Technology (CFILT) lab at IIT Bombay for Natural language processing.
He has completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from IIT Kharagpur on bachelors and masters of technology. Later, he completed his PhD from IIT Bombay in 1994. Pusphak Bhattacharyya was awarded the "Patwardhan Award of IIT Bombay for Technology Development," "VNMM award of IIT Roorkee for Technology Development," "Fellow of National Academy of Engineering," and "Eminent Engineer Award of Institution of Engineers."

Duvvuri Subbarao
Duvvuri Subbarao is a Retired IAS Officer, Ex-Governor of RBI, and Indian Economist. Subbarao was the 22nd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India who served under Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Dr D.Subbarao is an IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre 1972 batch. On 5th September 2008, he was appointed the 22nd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and served his duties until 2013.
Dr D. Subbarao received his M.Sc degree (Physics) from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur after relieving his administrative duties in 1978. Later, he did his master's degree in economics from the Ohio State University of the United States. Subbarao is also a fellow member of the Humphrey Fellowship during his Humphrey Fellowship program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for pursuing Quantitative Economic Modelling. Besides this, he received a PhD in Economics from Andhra University, where his doctoral thesis was titled "Fiscal reforms at the sub-national level."

Arjun Malhotra
Arjun Malhotra is an Indian industrialist, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and co-founder of the HCL group in 1975, where he also served as vice-chairman. Besides this, he also founded TechSpan, and then he served as a chief executive officer of a US-based firm. Later, he joined hands with his college friend and co-founded SPIC MACAY to promote Indian music and culture amongst the youth.
In 1965, he joined IIT Kharagpur to pursue his degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications. Later, he came to the United States to do the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Malhotra was awarded many prestigious awards, including Albert Einstein Technology Medal in 2001, Dataquest Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, Dr B.C. Roy Gold Medal, Honorary Doctorate from Punjab Technical University in 2013. Also, in 2003, he was named a Life Fellow by IIT Kharagpur and later awarded the Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by the university in 2012.

Malli Mastan Babu
Mastan Babu Malli was a famous Indian mountaineer and proud alumni of IIT Kharagpur. Malli is well known for his world record of creating the fear of climbing each continent's highest peak (the Seven Summits) in the shortest time at that point. Malli took 172 days, with the first climb on 19th January 2006 and the 7th on 10th July 2006. This feat made him one of the fastest seven summiteers in the world at that time.
The IIT Calcutta awarded Mastan Babu the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2011. Notably, Babu is the first Indian and South Asian to climb all seven summits, the first Indian to climb Carstensz Pyramid and Vinson Massif. On 24th March 2015, Babu passed away in the Andes mountains after a successful Tres Cruces Sur Summit.
