Here are some key exam-day tips for VITEEE 2025. 

• As stated in VITEEE exam guidelines 2025, candidates must arrive at the VITEEE exam centre 2025 at least 30 minutes before the exam's commencement time. 
• To register for the VITEEE 2025 exam, candidates must bring their admit card and ID evidence to the registration counter. 
• They must sign the attendance sheet and electronic admit card before the invigilator.
• Candidates are not permitted to enter the venue once the exam begins and will be barred from leaving until the exam is completed.
• Calculators, tables, side rulers, pagers, and cellular phones are prohibited in the exam hall. 
• Each candidate may have their biometric finger/photo captured in the exam hall. 
• Candidates are asked to maintain decorum in the exam hall during the exam centre and not disturb any other candidate.

VITEEE Dress Code 2025

VIT Vellore has not established a specific VITEEE 2025 Dress Code, but students are recommended to take heed of the following points:

• Candidates should not wear a cap, silencer, or any other covering over their heads.
• Students should wear light, comfortable clothing to avoid pain while writing the exam.
• Avoid wearing any jewellery or accessories.
• Candidates must not wear goggles, rings, bracelets, or other accessories.

What is Online Remote Proctored Exam (ORPE)? - VITEEE 2025 Guidelines 

Since the exam is an Online Remote Proctored Exam (ORPE) there is a set of VITEEE exam day guidelines 2025 one must keep in mind before starting the examination.

• The place should be disturbance-free where the presence of a person is null or minimal with a good range of distance.
• Students are required to place both primary and secondary devices in such a way that it could provide a clear and full picture. 
• Do not use any other browser or app while taking the exam.
• Connecting to any other devices such as Bluetooth headphones or displays is prohibited.
• Answering calls on the phone or primary devices isn't allowed throughout the examination.
• One should neither try to talk to anyone nor refer to any material during the examination period.
• Do not try to take screenshots or attempt to record screens.

Technical Requirements for VITEEE 2025 - Exam Device Requirements

VITEEE exam day guidelines 2025 mentions that the students require a primary as well as a secondary device with a stable internet connection and good speed. Students will be invigilated throughout the exam by the invigilators. Students are advised to keep the cameras on and avoid keeping any sort of materials around them.

The following VITEEE exam day guidelines 2025 are supposed to be followed for the exam device that is being used to take the VITEEE 2025. The candidate will not be able to access the exam portal if the following VITEEE 2025 exam day guidelines are not met.

Primary Device

• Device specification: Apple macOS: 64-bit macOS and the minimum macOS version supported is macOS 10.11 (El Capitan).
• Microsoft Windows: 64-bit Windows on AMD or Intel CPUs, and the supported OS versions are Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
• Ubuntu Linux: 64-bit Ubuntu on AMD or Intel CPUs and the supported OS versions are Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu 20.04

Secondary Device 

• Android mobile device with a front-facing camera, with a minimum OS version of Android 8 or above, and Chrome browser (version 80 or above) or Edge browser (version 45 or above)
• iOS mobile device with a front-facing camera, with minimum OS version iOS 13 or above, and Safari browser (version 13 or above).

Network Connection 

• A stable network connection to each device at a minimum upload/ download bandwidth of 256 kbps should be available throughout the test window period i.e. two hours (30 minutes for pretest checking and 90 minutes for actual test). 
• The test platform will assess the network and device capabilities and will allow the candidate to proceed only based on complying with the test requirements mentioned above. Else, the applicant cannot proceed with the exam.
• Restarting the examination is not possible after once it has been started.
• Losing connection for more than 5 min in between the test will result in termination of the examination. 
• It is advised to have UPS support during the examination period. 
• In case your WiFi is connected to an electrical power outlet, ensure power backup for WiFi. 
• A minimum of 1 GB is required for this duration with a recommended speed of 512 kbps for the primary and secondary devices separately. 
• Do go for a pre-evaluation of the camera, speaker, and mic for both devices along with the checking of the net’s speed.
• Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited. 
• Wired headphones, USB mouse/ keyboards can be used as per requirement
• If auto-updates are on, turn off both devices.
• Also, the secondary device should be in a silent/ “Do Not Disturb mode” but with mobile data on, to avoid any sort of interruptions.
• Video conferencing applications like Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, etc. should be closed.

VITEEE 2025 Slot Booking 

Slots will be available for two mock tests and an actual Exam (ORPE). The link for the mock test is typically available on the VITEEE page and each applicant’s slot booked is confirmed by email/ SMS.

• Only applicants can book the slot since the photo of the applicant will be captured at the time of slot booking. The applicant will be the only one who can book the slot as while booking the time slot his/her photo will be captured.
• Slot booking is necessary since failing this the student won't be eligible to take the actual examination.
• Failing to take mock tests will lead to incompatibility and inability to participate in the actual examination. Hence it is mandatory to participate in Mock Tests.
• There will be four slots per day.

VITEEE 2025 E-Admit Card

An E-Admit card will be generated upon the successful booking of the slot. If the applicant fails to book the slot, the slot will be booked automatically and an e-admit card will be sent to the applicants by email with an alert as SMS. The E-admit card and valid government ID proof in original should be ready for verification at the time of VITEEE (Both Hard & Soft Copy).
