Admission Details:
Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech(Food Technology):
- A Candidate is said to qualify when he or she has secured pass marks in a two-year intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education
i) Mathematics / Biological / Natural Sciences
ii) Physical Sciences
Seats to be occupied according to the merit displayed by the candidate(rank) in the AP EAMCET.
- 50% of Seats in B.Tech. (Food Technology) will be filled with students from Bi.P.C. stream and 50% of seats with students from M.P.C. stream.
- M.P.C Stream: 40% of seats for admission into B.Tech. (Food Technology) of the 50 total seats which are reserved under the Farmers Quota to be filled by the industry. Admission into the remaining 60% seats will be taken up by the Convener, AP EAMCET through Web-based General Engineering Counseling. The candidates shall make use of Web Options during the General Engineering Counselling. Those who apply under farmer quota can choose general quota seats if they wish to.
- Bi.P.C. Stream: The 50% seats under Bi.P.C. stream will be occupied by the University via counselling, out of which 40% fall reserved because of Farmer's Quota.
Scholarships Offered:
- Depending on the score obtained by the candidate via ICAR, AGRICET, etc, there would be merit-based scholarships provided for students based on their degrees of abilities
- Students who hail from impoverished backgrounds rarely have problems as there are ample reservation and scholarships for those who fall under farmers' quota.

Admission Procedure:
- Application forms can be downloaded from their official website. However, it must be submitted physically via offline mode(post, counsellor, etc)
- Students are mostly made to undertake merit tests such as AGRICET so as to clear and get selected for admission
