Placements & Internships : 1. I did 1 year internship at a renowned Hyderabad based architecture firm in Bangalore with one of the highest stipends. I am not allowed to mention the exact pay but it was over 10k. But it rarely is paid in such sums. Stipends vary from nothing to 2k till 15k. 2. No Campus Placement for architecture department. 3. Average Salary for a junior architect would be 15k to 20k and highest 30k if you are lucky and too skilled and get into to a top notch mnc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1.NATA and 11th+12th GPA is taken into consideration for Filtering applications. 2.NATA, also I'd recommend other state students to take COMED-K which helps you save those extra bucks spent on a management seat and CET if you are a domicile of Karnataka. 3. I'd say 50 % in both NATA and Pre university GPA should get you in.

Fees & Scholarships : Acharya NRV school of Architecture, [ANRVSA] Bangalore Management Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.6 Lakhs per Year approx. for both management and COMED-K students. Around 60-80K for CET students if i am not wrong. 2. There are various scholarships available for students based on MERIT, CASTE RESERVATION quota's, ECONOMICAL STATUS quota's, etc. 3. Not sure, they usually don't disclose such information to students. But most of you can try applying and can be quite hopeful if your case is genuine. 4. I'm not sure I'm equipped with proper info to answer this.

Academics & Faculty : 1. Quite well structured. Saturday's were off and half timed somedays during our time which was extremely beneficial and helped us work on those loads of work an architecture school usually dumps on its students. 2. As good as it is supposed to be. Sometimes less imp subjects might not have the best faculty assigned so self tutoring at times is necessary after all in a course like architecture one must be willing to teach oneself a lot. 3. Unparalleled and satiating.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 1. Quite a lot with hierarchy pertaining to one's budget. NO AIR CONDITIONING available because who needs one in Bangalore? right ;) 2. A plethora of PG options just outside and within 3-10 km radius aswell. Decent Flats are available in AGB LAYOUT and KIRLOSKAR LAYOUT, PG's are EVERYWHERE. You can stay at NEW-BEL/YESHWANTPUR(ORION/WTC/SHERATON) if you want a more happening environment too. 3.Classrooms are adequately furnished, CADD labs have APPLE screens so i don't have to further elucidate about that :D CANTEEN is quite Ambient open seating so we at acharya have had a very close bond with nature. NO Wi-Fi at School but present at Hostels. KEY-INFRASTRUCTURE? Acharya is a feast to one's eye so just go enjoy the architecture marvel and landscape present there. P.S. RAINY days are too gratifying.

Clubs & Associations : 1. We had a lot of event's happening where the college comes as one to work and take part. I'd be proud to say that we din't really have any societies based on regions, interests, and stuff we all were interacting with one another. It was rather a close-knit family. 2. HABBA, people go crazy about this annual college fest. I am a mellow person so i'd really be the wrong person to explain the madness and grandeur of this coveted fest. AIT students particularly go crazy about this and there's ONAM, ETHNIC DAY, COMIC-CON so many more. Almost every major festival is celebrated on a grand scale. 3. Again, UNPARALLELED. With the campus being extra beautiful it all makes it even more exciting.

Placements & Internships : There are a large number of oppurtunities to land an internship in Acharya's NRV school of Architecture. Apart from your interest driven based internship, the curriculum of B.Arch has made it compulsory to go for an internship period of ONE Academic year.  There are no campus placements in the field of architecture. You will have to land a job on your own merit. Your portfolio will show the experience and journey you have taken in terms of design and different typologies of architecture.  The salary differs from city to city and from firm to firm. I'm afraid i cannot comment on the Monetary values of this profession as it is highly unstable and cannot be compared easily.  The Alumni network in this field has to be very strong as the contacts you make is what will take you forward to increase your clientelle database.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibillity Criteria for B.Arch is to secure a minimum of 50% in 12th grade Board Examinations or Equivalent II PUC Board Examinations. Apart from this, a Student has to secure a miminum of 80/200 marks in The NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST for ARCHITECTURE (NATA). Both of these Criteria have to be met in order to be eligible.  There are no typical cutoffs as such because not many take up architecture in Acharya's NRV school of Architecture.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee per years again depends on the University you have enrolled yourself in. As per the Comed-K quota, we pay INR 1,66,480 per year. This is subject to change as per the Batches in Acharya's NRV school of Architecture.  There are plenty scholoarships available to students who excel in the course. Though the Amount is not enough to waive off the fees significantly.  Average number of students is 5-8.  Loans depends on the financial capability of a student's family. As far as i'm concerned, loans are not really required. When loans are sanctioned, a lot of paperwork is required initially. Punjab national bank provides educational loan.

Academics & Faculty : When one is studying in the Course Of Architecture, the daily routine is very hectic. This is mainly because the course really demands it.  A typical indian system of 9-4 classes. Projects and assignments are the main elements that drive this course.  The quality and method of teaching at Acharya's NRV school Of Architecture is good but there is a scope of improvement. More faculties are Required from different fields of archietcure to give students a fair amount of exposure to the different branches of this vast field.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is an Abundance of hostels around the campus. the campus also caters to a boys and a girls hostel placed seperately. The PGs and other flats are really a good option for people who want the freedom from restrictions. the cost is minimal. for 1 BHK the cost would be INR 3,000 per month. The food in college is decent. There are a few stlls around and an in-house canteen that provides a lot of variety of dishes. the average cost would be INR 40 per meal. The quality of class rooms is top notch in Our campus. The campus is one of the best in bangalore if not the best. Amenities like Wi-Fi are provided but it doesn't function everywhere as desired in Acharya's NRV school of Architecture.

Clubs & Associations : The main festivals in campus is The ACharya Habba that's been happening for the last 25 years. it draws a lot of studets from all parts of bangalore in spite of the college located in the outskirts. a lot of sports activities take place in the campus. acharya plays hosts to a lot of teams in the campus. intra college comeptitions take place as well as inter collegiate fests too.  Apart from these activites, The Architecture department Successfully hosted A zonal convention ZONASA (ZONAL NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR STUDENTS OF ARCHITECTURE) 'ByZERO'16 from 8th-13th October where students from 34 different colleges across 4 states participated. This is a closed convention where the students are made to stay on the campus with neccessary arrangement sprovided for stay and food. College life in general is kickass, if you love the course then everything works well in general.
