Eligibility Criteria for BA, BA{Hons.}, B.Com{Hons.}:

  • Applicants seeking admission to the first year of B.A. (Hons.), Social Work, B.A. (Hons.) Geog., B. Com. and B. Com. (Hons.) must have secured a minimum percentage 45% of marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognised board.
  • Applicants seeking admission to the first year of B.A. programme must have secured a minimum percentage 40% of marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognised board.
  • Applicants seeking admission to the first year of B.Com Hons. must have secured a minimum percentage 45% of marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognised board.
  • Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of under graduate courses offered in the college shall be “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi. Candidates from vocational courses would be considered on the basis of individual merit and availability of seats and not as per general merit.”

Application Process for BA, BA{Hons.}, B.Com{Hons.}:

  • Applicants seeking admission to the first year of B.A. Programme, B.A. (Hons.), Social Work, B.A. (Hons.) Geog., B. Com. and B. Com. (Hons.) can apply through an application form enclosed with the prospectus. In the case of B.El.Ed. programme and B.A. (Honours) Hindi Journalism, applicants are required to apply respectively to the Department of Education and the Department of Hindi, University of Delhi.

Admission Process for BA, BA{Hons.}, B.Com{Hons.}:

  • Admissions to the college are made purely on the basis of merit and admissions to a course are closed once the seats are filled.
  • Notifications regarding admission to various courses will be displayed on the college notice board. Any individual intimation regarding admission will not be sent.
  • All admissions will be provisional and subject to confirmation by the University of Delhi.
  • Admissions to all courses are to be routed through the admission committee constituted for the purpose, and its decision shall be binding in all admission- related matters.
  • No student shall be denied admission on the basis of gap period.

Admission Process for candidates with distinction in sports:

  • Admission on the basis of sports distinctions will be considered only if the achievement pertain to the preceding three years. The admissions will be done according to the University norms. At the time of submission of admission forms, photocopy/copies of the highest sports achievement/s along with corresponding game/s should be attached. The certificate/s should be accredited by the Indian Olympic Association (I.O.A.), the Association Indian University (A.I.U.) and the School Games Federation of Indian (S.G.F.I.).
  • Only students with original certificates would be considered.
  • Students who get admission on sports achievements must continue practice after admission, as required.
  • Wearing of sports uniform (like track suit, t-shirts & shorts etc.) is compulsory at the time of trials.
  • Students seeking admission on the basis of sports distinction are required to attach certified/attested photocopies of the relevant certificates.
  • Original character certificate from the Head of the School last attended and two passport size photographs are to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • Selection trial for admission on the basis of Sports Distinction will be held on 4th & 5th July, 20I2 at 8:00 am in College Campus for Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Power-lifting, Archery, Judo, Taekwondo, Boxing and Athletics.

Documents required for admission process:

A candidate selected for admission will be required to submit a duly filled college admission form (enclosed in the prospectus) along with the original certificates and attested/self-attested photocopies of:-

  • Mark sheet of qualifying examination
  • Provisional certificate of passing of qualifying examination.
  • Migration certificate for the students coming from University or Board other than Delhi
  • A character certificate from school or college last attended
  • Certificate issued by secondary school/C.B.S.E. matriculation showing date of birth
  • Two recent passport size photographs
  • If applicable, Scheduled Caste/Tribes, OBC, physically disabled certificate/s of the applicant.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility for the course is you have to complete your 12th class in any stream. Thats it. No entrance exam for this course. In general last cutoff goes 72% or 75%.

Placements & Internships : College provides internship in NGOs hospitals jail etc for three years. Every year your internship places changes. At the end of the course 1month block placement is also conducted by college then you have to give the interview by yourself faculty help you.

Fees & Scholarships : Admission fee is approx Rs 7725 (INR) rupees only. Which is very low as compared to other courses. And you also have to pay Rs 1100 rupees when semester exams are coming.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine was awesome. Faculty members took their classes on time and also respect students and their issues. Faculty help students as much as they can. Teachers even asked that if they want to study in another way. Department changes your personality very well and after completion, the course trusts me you gave so many thanks to the department.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : No hostel facility provided by the college but you can get nice hostel at cheap rates nearby college. The area has low prices than that of another area. College canteen is hygienic. Although college is not so much good by infrastructure department of this course fulfill all this need very well.

Clubs & Associations : There is theatre group sports group which is awesome like really. Diwali Mela NGO meet is most awaited events. An annual day like activities also held. Life in college is pretty good. The new experience I gained which improves my personality. A new direction to see society was given by the college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission process is Merit based. The criteria for admission is 12th board with 80% and above. Cut off is 80% and above.

Placements & Internships : The internship was excellent, Many companies visit my college for campus selection. INR 5.2 lakh is the starting salary (average) for a student who passes out. The alumni is also available for you.

Fees & Scholarships : INR 4000 is the fees per annum. scholarships are available.

Academics & Faculty :  Many projects & assignments are given, presentations are used to explain concepts. Excellent teaching method. Excellent experience

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are no hostels. PGs are available near by, good rooms at a nominal price.

Clubs & Associations : Many societies like dance, music, etc. are present in our college. Diwali and the annual day are the events at our college. Excellent experience.
