Applicants with 50% aggregate score in 12th from a recognized Board can apply for B.Sc course.

Admissions granted to B.Com course will be on the basis of marks scored in 12^th standard / HSC.

Interested students can apply for M.Sc degree at AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, if they have 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc in any discipline from a recognized/reputed University.

BA English

• All applicants must have a 10+2 certificate from a recognized educational board with 50% aggregate score.

• The BA degree provides specialization in English Literature.

BBA Computer Applications

• The course offers specialization in Computer Applications.

• Students with 50% aggregate marks in 12th can apply for BBA at AJK College of Arts and Science.

For BCA, all applicants with 50% aggregate score in HSC / 12th are eligible to apply.

• Applicant must have passed in NET / SET or an equivalent National Level examination.

• Candidates must have passed Postgraduation with 55% aggregate score.

Ph.D

• The candidate must possess a valid GATE score or must have qualified the CSIR / UGC / ICSSR / ICPR / MET or an equivalent qualifying examination.

• Postgraduate Students with any of the following eligibility can apply for the course:

  • The applicant should have obtained at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC / ST) in MA or equivalent degree in Humanities / Social Sciences subjects.

  • A First Class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC / ST) in Master’s degree in Science / Commerce / Graduate Degree in Engineering / Technology will be considered for research areas consistent with the academic background and special interests of the applicant.

  • An M.Phil degree in any of the research areas like Computer Science, Commerce, Catering Science & Hotel Management and Management can apply.

General Requirements of Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Doctoral Application Process 2024

• Students seeking admission in any course at AJK College of Arts and Science admissions 2024 should apply within the due date.

• Application can be filled Online / Offline for BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes.

• Offline application process:

  • Applicants applying by offline mode will get printed application forms at college campus from March / April every year.

  • Demand Draft of INR 400/- for the application fee for OC / BC / MBC / DNT candidates must be submitted.

  • Demand Draft of INR 200/- in case of SC / ST candidates, on the production of attested photocopy of community certificate.

  • DD must be drawn in favour of the "Registrar, Bharathiar University payable at Coimbatore" and must be sent with a self-addressed stamped envelope of the value of INR 60/- before April 2024.

• Along with the application form candidate must enclose the following certificates:

  • Three attested photocopies of Mark Sheet of Class X

  • Three attested photocopies of Certificate of Class X

  • Three attested photocopies of Mark Sheet of Class XII

  • Three attested photocopies of Certificate of Class XII

  • Original Character Certificate

  • Original Transfer Certificate

  • Original Migration Certificate (Other than Tamil Nadu)

  • Attested copy of Caste/Category Certificate

  • Recent Passport Size Photograph - 4 Nos.

  • Recent Stamp Size Photograph - 4 Nos.

  • 2 Photographs of Father & Mother each

  • Affidavit with Physical Fitness Certificate

  • Candidate's Aadhar Card Photocopy

• Online application process:

  • The application form is available on the college website also.

  • Application fee for the online process can be paid via Debit / Credit Card or Net Banking.

• Attach a soft copy of recent Passport Sized Photograph and Signature

General Requirements of Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Doctoral Admissions 2024

• For UG courses, admission procedure starts after 3 days of publication of +2 results by HSC Board of TN as per the rank list and merit order according to Government norms.

• For PG courses, candidates must attend Personal Interview (PI) followed by Group Discussion (GD)

• Students must have a valid score in entrance tests of the desired courses.

• Selected candidates should attend Counselling at college premises.

• Applicant should know his / her unique login ID details (i.e. Challan No., Token code / Transaction no, DOB, etc) which are required in the counselling process.

• All selected candidates are required to pay the tuition fee.

• The AJK College of Arts and Science fee structure must be checked before admissions.

Applicants with any UG degree can apply for MSW course at AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore.

Minimum eligibility is 50% aggregate score in Bachelor's degree from a recognized/reputed University.
