Eligibility criteria at APS College of Engineering, [APSCE] Bangalore

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech:

  • The candidates must have passed the two years Pre-University Examination (Science) conducted by Karnataka State Pre-University Board.
  • The candidate may have passed 10 + 2 School Programme of the Central Board (CBSE / ICSE) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical as optional subjects and English as a subject of study.
  • The candidates may have passed 3 years of Diploma examinations recognised by the VTU.
  • Candidates other than those from karnataka are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from VTU, Belgaum.
  • The Eligibility norms are periodically fixed by VTU with all relevant details of Academic Eligibility, Recognised Equivalent Courses for admissions to UG Courses as well as PG Courses and Institutions recognized for eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:

  • The candidates must have passed B.E. / B.Tech. Examinations (in the relevant field) of VTU or any other University / Institution or any other examinations recognised as equivalent thereto.
  • The candidates, who have qualified in the GATE Examination for the appropriate branch of engineering, shall be given priority.
  • They shall be exempt from taking Entrance Examination.
  • Admission to M.Tech course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
  • However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Group I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.

 


 

Application Process at APS College of Engineering, [APSCE] Bangalore

Application Process for B.Tech, M.Tech:

  • Applicants are required to apply on the prescribed form.
  • Applicants can also download the application.
  • It is available under the "Admissions" Tab.
  • Select either UG/ PG to continue.
  • Under admissions tab, click on "application form".
  • A .pdf file will be opened.
  • Download it and fill the form carefully. 
  • Application forms complete in all respect should be submitted to the college office along with the supporting documents as required.
  • Applicants can also send the form to the college through the post. 

Note:

  • Applicants who have downloaded the form must attach a DD for the application fees while submitting the application form.
  • Application forms which were submitted without payment of application fees will not be processed.

Admission process at APS College of Engineering, [APSCE] Bangalore

Admission Process for B.Tech, M.Tech:

  • Candidates can either apply under counselling quota or through management quota.
  • Students applying for counselling will be ranked based on the marks obtained by them in 10+2 and entrance exam such as CET.
  • Candidates will be called for counselling upon which admissions will be complete.
  • The candidate has to bring all the Original Certificates for verification. 
  • Candidates applying under management quota can approach the college directly to get admissions.
  • Admissions for management quota will be on First Come First Serve basis.
