The Assam Institute of Hotel Management was established in 2011. It is located in Guwahati and is a UGC approved and ISO 9001:2005 certified institution.

The AIHM Guwahati Courses are for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the Hotel, Travel, and Tourism Sector. It offers diploma and degree courses from approved institutions. The faculty members are experienced and ensure that the students get both the theoretical, as well as, practical knowledge necessary.

Assam Institute of Hotel Management, [AIHM] Guwahati Eligibility Criteria:

Course	Eligibility
BSc/ BBA	The candidates must have passed 10+2, or equivalent, from a recognized Board. Admissions will be based on the scores in the CEE examination.
MBA [Hotel Management]	The candidates must have graduated from a recognized University. Admissions will be based on the scores in the CEE examination.
Diploma [Hotel Management]	The candidates must have passed high school or 10th from a recognized Board.
Diploma [Aviation]/ Training	The candidates must have passed 10+2, or above. Candidates should be unmarried and between the ages of 17 to 27. They should have good eyesight, physically balanced without any visual injury marks.
MBA [Airport Management]	The candidates must have graduated from a recognized University. Candidates should be unmarried and between the ages of 17 to 27. They should have good eyesight, physically balanced without any visual injury marks.
