BIT Mesra infrastructure offers state-of-the-art facilities for staff, faculty, and students. The institute is equipped with lecture halls, research and training laboratories, a library, administrative offices, etc. The BIT Mesra campus area is spread over an area of 780 acres. Some highlighting features of the BIT Mesra Ranchi infrastructure are mentioned below.

Hostel

• BIT Mesra Ranchi infrastructure boasts residential facilities that house 2000 teaching and staff employees and 3200 graduate and postgraduate students.
• It has three separate hostels for girls and eleven hostels for boys, making it entirely residential.
• The BIT Mesra hostel rooms are well-lit and ventilated, surrounded by lush greenery.
• While girls share accommodations in large, comfortably equipped rooms, each male student gets a single occupancy furnished room.
• Each room is built in a row, with a large veranda for communal use running the entire length of the hallway. 
• There are dining rooms and common areas with space for many indoor games at the hostel. 
• BIT Mesra infrastructure features a reading room with a massive collection of journals, periodicals, and newspapers.
• Each hostel has an entertainment hall with a coloured TV. 
• Additionally, the BIT Mesra hostel has a separate mess managed and run by the students.

Gym: BIT Mesra has a well-equipped gym, indoor game areas, and sizable playgrounds for participating in a variety of outdoor activities.

Library

• BIT Mesra Library collection includes hybrid (print and electronic) resources in the fields of engineering, management, pharmacy, and hotel and restaurant management.
• It also features a separate internet section made up of a number of networked terminals.
• The BIT Mesra library is automated with RFID technology utilising the open source programme "KOHA" and other services, like CD-ROM database search, OPAC, and Web-based OPAC.
• 150423 Volumes, 4897 titles, 129 print journals, 11 magazines, 13 newspapers, 3200 CDs / DVDs, and 18512 bound volumes are housed in the BIT Mesra Library. 

Auditorium

• BIT Mesra campus has two auditoriums with a combined capacity of 2,500 people. 
• The student community uses it to conduct cultural events.

Canteen

• There are two BIT Mesra canteens and multiple food establishments on campus.
• All the restaurants are popular gathering places as young people tend to hang out in groups. 

Guest House: BIT Mesra infrastructure has three guest houses for guests visiting the campus. The guest houses are categorised into three types.

• Institutional guest for many academic and other institutional objectives.
• Guest or individual visiting the institute for a project, consulting work, short-term courses, a conference, etc.
• Accommodations are provided to employees, student parents/guardians, and alumni/guests from other academic institutions on a reciprocal basis.

Medical Facilities

• BIT Mesra infrastructure features a dispensary that offers diagnostic, preventive, and curative therapies.
• Emergency cases that need intensive care facilities' more specialised attention are either referred to the nearby Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi or Apollo Hospital Erba, in Ranchi.
• In the event of an emergency, a doctor from the BIT Mesra campus health centre goes with the patient.
• The institute keeps in touch with the medical staff at these two hospitals. 
• Residents of nearby villages receive free medical care and medication from the campus dispensary/health centre.
• The health centre has four ambulances available during each of the three shifts and is equipped with first aid supplies and oxygen cylinders.

Banking and ATM

• BIT Mesra infrastructure offers banking services to students.
• There are two banks (SBI and UCO Bank) and three ATMs available for students, staff, and residents of the surrounding villages. These facilities operate on a regular basis.

Post Office

• An India post office and an Indian Railways Counter are also available on the BIT Mesra campus.
• It is located behind the main building of the institute and provides all services, including registered mail, speed mail, money orders, etc. 
• It is very convenient for the faculty, staff, and residents of the nearby villages.

CAD Laboratory

• BIT Mesra Ranchi has a CAD laboratory for graduates, postgraduate students, research fellows, and faculty members.
• They can conduct their study and learn how to use the most recent software. 
• A high-end server is connected with a total of 70 modern PCs (desktops and workstations) in the CAD Laboratory via switched networking.
