BIT Mesra fee payment is an online process, done through the official website. The process includes a few steps under the student portal. BIT Ranchi accepts payment through debit card, credit card and net banking (only through nationalised banks).

Step 2: Log in with your credentials; in case you forget your password, reset it with the OTP sent to your registered email and phone number.

Step 3: Go to 'academic' on the menu.

Step 4: Select the student-related option and choose the online payment option

Step 5: A new page will appear, and Students have to select the receipt type as semester fee

Step 6: Then you have to select your semester

Step 7: Click on 'Pay Now'.

Step 8: A new window will open for you to select the payment mode.

Step 9: Select your desired payment option from credit card/debit card/net banking

Step 10: After successful payment, a receipt will be generated. Keep the receipt for further use

BIT Mesra Fee Refund Policy

The BIT Mesra fee refund policy varies for students admitted before the commencement of classes and students admitted after the commencement of classes. Check the points below for more information.

Withdrawal before commencement of classes

• For withdrawal before commencement of classes, as notified by the authority, the fee is refunded after deduction of Rs 10,000/- as a processing charge.
• For withdrawal between the 1st and 7th day from the date of commencement of classes, 80% of the deposited fee is refunded.
• For withdrawal after seven working days from the date of commencement of classes, 60% of the fee is refunded.
• For withdrawal after the admission has already been declared closed, only the caution money is refunded.

• For withdrawal within seven working days after the date of admission, 80% of the deposited fee is refunded.
