Our journey began in 1992 with a modest 20-bed hospital, which, through the vision and dedication of Dr. Ajay Goenka, evolved into one of Central India’s largest healthcare groups. By 1997, we expanded to a 100-bed super specialty hospital, setting the foundation for our commitment to quality healthcare. 

In 2004, we established a Cardiac Centre, followed by the launch of Chirayu Air Products in 2007, a prominent manufacturer of Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Acetylene Gas. In 2010, we founded Chirayu Medical College & Hospital, an ISO-certified institution with NABL and NABH accreditations, offering 800 beds under Dr. Goenka’s guidance.

In 2012, we further grew by founding Chirayu College of Nursing and Chirayu College of Paramedical Education, strengthening both our healthcare services and educational initiatives. The Chirayu Cancer Center, established in 2015, provides comprehensive cancer care, becoming one of the best in Central India.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we launched the Chirayu Covid-19 Centre in 2020, which successfully treated over 30,000 patients, achieving one of the highest recovery rates nationwide. In 2022, we introduced Chirayu Setu, a premier drug de-addiction and rehabilitation center in Central India.

The Chirayu group takes pride in these milestones and continues to advance Dr. Ajay Goenka’s vision of delivering outstanding healthcare to those in need.

B.Sc:

Chirayu Medical College and Hospital offers a 4-year BSc in Nursing, a 3-year BSc in two other disciplines, and a 2-year Post Basic BSc in Nursing program. To be eligible for the BSc program, candidates must have completed 10+2 in PCBE with a minimum of 50% marks. For the Post Basic BSc in Nursing, candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination, possess a GNM certificate, and be registered as RNRM with the State Nurse Registration Council. Admission to both the BSc and Post Basic BSc in Nursing programs is granted based on the candidate's merit in the qualifying exam.

MD:

Chirayu Medical College and Hospital offers an MD program with five specializations, each having an intake of two students. Candidates holding an MBBS degree from a recognized university approved by MCI are eligible to apply for the MD program. Admission is based on NEET PG merit, followed by counseling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education.

MSc

Eligibility for admission requires candidates to be registered as nurses or midwives with any State Nursing Registration Council. They must have completed a B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), or Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and have a minimum of 1 year of work experience after completing their BSc or Post Basic BSc in Nursing. Admission is granted based on the candidate's merit in the qualifying exam.

Diploma Courses

Chirayu Medical College and Hospital offers several programs, including a 3-year Diploma in Nursing, a 6-month General Nursing and Midwifery Diploma, a Diploma in six paramedical disciplines, and Certificate courses in three paramedical specializations with an intake of 50 students each, including a Critical Care Certificate course with 2 seats.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 in PCB with at least 40% marks or have finished a 10+2 vocational ANM course are eligible for the Diploma in Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery programs. Those with 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates) are eligible for the Diploma in paramedical disciplines. Applicants with 10+2 in PCB and at least 40% marks (33% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates) may apply for the paramedical Certificate course. To apply for the Critical Care Certificate course, candidates must have completed a Diploma in Anaesthesia, Chest Disease, Orthopedics, or MD/DNB in Medicine, Chest, Anaesthesia, or MS in General Surgery, Orthopedics from an MCI or State Medical Council-recognized university. Admission to all Diploma and Certificate programs is based on merit.

Chirayu Medical College and Hospital Hostel

The CMCAH hostels are available for both men and women with the all necessary essentials and well-furnished space. The ambiance is pleasant and the food provided by the mess is most pleasing and nutritious.

• Hostels are equipped with water purifier, water cooler, solar-powered water geysers.
• The hostel can accommodate 568 students and also provides rooms for UGs, PGs as well as Interns.
• The Chirayu Medical College and Hospital Facilities include 24 hours security, power backups, recreation rooms, a gymnasium, and indoor games.
